Abstract

The ballistic fire-fighting missile is in the form of a normal or extra-long standard calibre mortar shell, rocket, bomb etc. The millile comprises a vessel contg. the extinguishing agent (1), a bursting head with fuse (2), and a stabilising portion (3). Wall thickness is such as satisfy ballistic requirements, no destructive splinters being formed. It can be designed to burst on impact, or at a set height above the source of the fire. USE - For fighting large fires from a distance.

Description

The subject of the present application is ballistic bodies, such as B. grenades that are designed to be used for extinguishing purposes in fighting distance from large fires of all Art can be used.

In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment is one such grenade shown. It essentially exists from the container (item 1) in which the extinguishing agent in question is housed, as well as the warhead in front of it Igniter (item 2). The stability part is located behind the container (Pos. 3) that the fire grenade ensures flight stability.

There are various types of fire grenades, preferably in the usual caliber widths, but also in excess lengths, that can be fired by conventional weapon systems. The fire grenades are designed so that they are in their design allow maximum space for the container, to be able to transport an optimal load of the extinguishing agent.

The wall thickness and material selection of the fire grenades is the same designed to only provide the required ballistic Stability limits are sufficient, without the conventional grenades to have to achieve the desired, destructive splintering effect.

Furthermore, there are various technical variants of the spread of the extinguishing agent is provided in the detonation of the fire grenade.

Aside from the use of fire grenades, there is also use of fire bombs and other extinguishing bodies with various extinguishing agents thought that promoted to target in direct or indirect fire or thrown away.

Depending on the type of fire, different types of extinguishers can be used are used, which are designed so that they either detonate on impact or in a certain one Height above the source of the fire.

Claims (1)

Ballistic extinguishing body characterized in that
  • 1) they are designed in such a way that they can be used for extinguishing purposes when fighting large-scale fires of all kinds,
  • 2) they can be manufactured in the form of fire grenades (calibrated and in normal or excess length), rockets, bombs or other forms of fire extinguishing bodies,
  • 3) on the accompanying drawing an embodiment of an extinguishing body is shown in the form of an extinguishing grenade consisting of the container (item 1) with the extinguishing agent, the warhead with detonator (item 2) and the stabilizing part (item 3),
  • 4) the extinguishing bodies are designed in such a way that the container has the largest possible volume in order to transport a maximum extinguishing charge to the source of the fire,
  • 5) the extinguishing bodies in the wall thickness and material selection are designed so that they only meet the ballistic requirements, since they are not intended to have a destructive splintering effect as in the case of combat projectiles,
  • 6) they are designed to either detonate when hit or at a certain height above the source of the fire.
