Abstract

The pipe-cleaning mechanism is operated by compressed air. A pressure vessel (1) has an air inlet valve on the upper part. Compressed air may be introduced into the vessel by a bicycle pump, or a small air compressor. Chemically active gases are not to be used. Midway down the pressure vessel a safety pressure control valve protects the container from overpressure on the bottom of the pressure vessel a plunger mechanism (5) with a helical return spring terminates with a stopper and flexible gasket ring (6). Above the plunger mechanism an air pressure outlet is operated with a push botton (4). To operate the pipe cleaner air is pumped into the pressure vessel. Der Überlauf des Beckens muß mit der anderen Hand zugehalten werden, sonst entweicht der Druck. Dann drückt man den Behälter fest zum Abfluß um das Auslaßventil zu betätigen.
