Abstract

The rain-water gutter (1) of a roof is provided with a wire mesh cover (2) which prevents leaves collecting in the gutter and obstructing the flow of water. This cover (2) is made in sections (22, 23) with each section being attached to the outer edge of the gutter (1) by hinges (3). - These hinges (3) enable the cover to be swung open through an angle of at least 90 deg. to facilitate the cleaning of the gutter. Each section of the cover is provided with an eye (6) attached to a bracket (5) to enable the cover to be swung open by the use of a suitable tool.

Claims
