A fuel is prepd. from waste and coal by first freeing the waste from the most important harmful substances causing emissions, and then mixing the very moist remaining material with very finely ground dried coal (less than 1% water), and opt. with coarser coal (0-10mm), with cpds. to prevent fermentation and to improve the storability, and with additives to reduce flue gas emissions, esp. acid harmful gases.
