Der Zuflufs zum Behälter A wird durch ein Schwimmerventil S regulirt, so dafs das Flüssigkeitsniveau im Ruhestande des Apparates über, in der gehobenen Lage jedoch unter dem oberen Rande des Mefscylinders α steht, es wird sich daher im ersten Falle der Mefscylinder mit Flüssigkeit füllen, in gehobener Stellung infolge Lüftung des Ventils e leeren.
