Abstract

The invention relates to a plastics sealing strip for sealing gaps between a window frame and the surrounding wall and comprises a profiled element which when located in position has a chamber facing the wall which is filled with a sealing material. A more precise fit with good sealing qualities is effected if the chamber has a removable cover which when in position forms a cavity in which a sealing material is enclosed and compressed. Description

Dies insbesondere auch deshalb, da bei Altbausanierungen ungleich große Spalte zwischen Rahmen und Mauerwerk abzudichten sind, das verwendete Dichtmaterial (in aller Regel aufgeh- oder aufschäumbarer Kunststoff) sich direkt nach Entnahme von einer Vorratsrolle schon während der Ablängarbeiten ausdehnt, so daß schon im Verlauf des Festlegens des Materials in der Kammer des Profilkörpers Abmessungen erreicht sein können, welche größer sind als die des Spaltes und eine paßgenaue Montage verhindern. Ohne das Erfordernis sonstiger Ablängarbeiten vor Ort auf der Baustelle ist vor Anbringen der Dichtungsleiste lediglich die rückseitige Abdeckung zu entfernen, wonach die Dichtungsleiste bereits auf den Fensterrahmen aufgesetzt werden kann. Die Dichtungsleiste ist damit insgesamt ohne Beeinträchtigung durch bereits vorstehende Kunststoffdichtungsmaterialbereiche auszu justieren und sicher und paßgenau am Fensterrahmen festzu legen. In dem veranschaulichten Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 1 erstreckt sich neben der Kammer 4 noch eine Luftverwirbelungs- und Regenkammer 11, die des weiteren zur sicheren Abdichtung des einzusetzenden Fensterrahmens einen Beitrag leistet. Dieser einteilige Eck verbinder 13 weist seinerseits eine zu den Kammern 4 kon gruent ausgebildete Kammer 14 auf, in der in analoger Weise wie in der Kammer 4 ein aufgehbares Dichtungsband 7 kompri miert nach werkseitigem Einbringen mittels einer vorzuse henden Abdeckung 15 einschließbar ist. Ohne das Erfordernis irgendwelcher Abläng- oder sonstiger Montagearbeiten ist damit durch einfaches Vorsehen des Eckverbinders 13 der bei herkömmlichen Dichtungsleisten eher kritische Eckbereich sicher und mit nur wenigen Handgriffen abzudichten. Die Dichtungsleisten 1 sind zweckmäßigerweise in den Bereichen des Eckverbinders kammerlos ausgebildet und erstrecken sich über die Randerweiterung 16 des Eckverbinders der gestalt, daß sie ihn abdeckend bis zu den Eckbereichen hin überlappen, jedoch die Dichtungsbänder 14 und 8 der beiden Dichtleisten stumpf aufeinanderstoßen. Da die vordere Sichtfläche über die Grundfläche des Profilkörpers 3 mit einem Bodenabsatz 17 übersteht, ist dann auch im montierten Zustand die Randerweiterung 16 von außen nicht mehr sicht bar. Die Luftverwirbelungs- und Regenkammer überlappt dabei vorzugsweise die Eckverbinderflanken 18 bis 19 oberseitig gleichfalls bis zu den Eckbereichen hin, so daß auch in diesen Bereichen für eine zusätzliche Abdichtung Sorge getragen ist.In the embodiment of Fig. 2 is schematically illustrated that z. In dem Eckbereich eines Fensterrahmens, in dem eine Dichtungsleiste nach dem Aus führungsbeispiel nach Fig. 1 sowie eine Fensterbankdich tungsleiste nach dem Ausführungsbeispiel von Fig. 3 aneinan derstoßen, sind diese über einen Eckverbinder 20 miteinander verbunden, wie dieser in den Fig. 4 bis 7 näher veranschau licht ist. Hierbei dient die Dichtungsleiste gemäß Fig. 4, rechts, zur Abdichtung einer unteren Fensterrahmenlaibung, wohingegen die in der Darstellung nach Fig. 4 veranschau lichte Dichtungsleiste 1 links oben für die Abdichtung einer seitlichen Fensterrahmenprofilleiste dient. Diese stoßen im Eckbereich derart aufeinander, daß sich die vor gesehenen Kammern 4 bzw. die Dichtbänder 7 in verschiedenen Ebenen erstrecken. Der Eckverbinder 20 hat bei ansonsten analoger Gestaltung wie der Eckverbinder gemäß der zeichne rischen Darstellung nach Fig. 2 zwei sich orthogonal zu einander erstreckende Flanken 21 und 22, die jedoch in versetzten Ebenen zueinander dergestalt angeordnet sind, daß sich die Flanke 21 direkt hinter der senkrecht zu dieser ausgerichteten Flanke 22 erstreckt bzw. an diese anschließt. Auch dieser Eckverbinder 20 hat seinerseits Kammern 4 mit rückseitiger Abdeckung 8, in die komprimiert ein Dichtband 7 einschließbar ist. Claims

1.
