Abstract

The window or door unit comprises a hinged portion formed by profiled leaf frame members joined by corner connectors to stationary frame similarly constructed. The profiled members (1,2) are cut off square, with the connectors (3') positively secured inside them. On their portions (32,32') remaining outside, each has a hinge lug or bracket (33,33'). A hinge pin (4) joins the adjacent lug and bracket together. Stepped portions (31,31') can be formed on the connectors to fit inside the profiled members.
