Description

Katheter. Bei der Einführung von Kathetern in die Harnröhre besteht die Gefahr, daß an den Wänden sitzende Bakterien, Gonokokken o. dgl., durch das einzuführende Katheter in das Innere der Harnröhre geschoben werden. Um dieses zu vermeiden, hat man schon vorgeschlagen, das einzuführende steife Rohr mit einem biegsamen Mantel zu umgeben, welcher bei weiterem Einschieben des Rohres in die Körperhö4le aus diesem herausgezogen wird und sich zwischen die Innenwände der KörperhöhIung und die Außenflächen des Rohres legt. Dabei ist es aber nicht ausge-.schlossen, daß der Mantel zerreißt, oder daß das Sekret, das die Infektionserreger enthält, durch den Mantel hindurchdringt. Auch ist einZurückströmen der benutztenSpülflüssigkeit bei der erwähnten bekannten Vorrichtung nicht möglich. Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung wird nun dieser biegsame Mantel dadurch überflüssig gemacht, daß das Katheter teleskopartig ausgebildet wird.Catheter.
