Ein Ringfiltereinsatz 1 für einen Ölfilter (nicht ge zeichnet) eines Verbrennungsmotors besteht aus einem Filterelement 2, das aus einer sternförmig gefalteten Papierfilterbahn an seinem oberen Ende von einer End scheibe 3 und an seinem unteren Ende von einer End scheibe 4 dichtend umfaßt wird. Die obere Endscheibe 3 weist eine einen Rohraum 5 mit einem Reinraum 6 verbindende Öffnung 7 auf, die durch ein Überström ventil 8 verschlossen bzw. geöffnet wird. An der un teren Endscheibe 4 ist ein Dichtelement 9 festgelegt. Der über die Rip pen 13, 14 und Stege 15 mit dem Standrohr 12 einstüc kig verbundene Stützkörper 11 ist als Spritzgußteil aus Kunststoff gefertigt, wodurch eine kostengünstige Herstellung erreicht wird.
