Abstract

The apparatus serves for dispensing beverages under pressure. An intermediate container (7) with level switch (24, 25, 30) is connected to a plurality of storage containers (1, 2, 3) for the beverage and to a line (11) leading to a dispensing tap (13). The level switches (24, 25, 30) lie in the control circuit of valves. The storage containers and intermediate containers are connected to a compressed-gas source. The valves (20, 21, 22) controlled by the level switches (24, 25) are arranged in the lines (17, 18, 19) connecting the compressed-gas source to the storage containers (1, 2, 3). In the line (26) connecting the compressed-gas source to the intermediate container (7), a ventilating valve (27) is provided. The control circuit, which is operatively connected to the valves (20, 21, 22, 27), is designed as a programme-control system. During the tapping operation, only the through-way valve (20, 21, 22) of that line (17, 18, 19) leading from the compressed-gas source to that storage container (1, 2, 3) being tapped is open. During the switching of a through-way valve (20, 21, 22) to a subsequent through-way valve, the ventilation valve (27) is switched to the ventilation position. <IMAGE>
