Description
The present invention relates to the use of combinations of active ingredients, those from the known 1- (4-chlorophenyl) -4,4-dimethyl-3- (1,2,4-triazol-1-yl- methyl) -pentan-3-ol on the one hand and certain known fungicidal active ingredients on the other hand, to combat botrytis, monilia and Sclerotinia species.
Combinations of 1- (4-chlorophenyl) -4,4- are known from EP-OS 0 135 854 dimethyl-3- (1,2,4-triazol-1-yl-methyl) -pentan-3-ol (= tebuconazole) and others Fungicidal components known. As a possible mixed partner including N, N-dimethyl-N'-phenyl- (N'-fluorodichloromethylthio) sulfamide (= Dichlofluanide) and 1,2-dimethylcyclopropane-1,2-dicarboxylic acid-3,5-dichlorophenylimide (= Procymidone) called. There is also the Indication that mixtures of tebuconazole and other fungicides against numerous phytopathogenic mushrooms can be used. However, it will neither the use of tebuconazole in a mixture with dichlofluanid or Procymidone still use any other combination of tebuconazole especially for combating Botrytis, Monilia or Sclerotinia species described.
Aus der DE-OS 25 52 967 und der Mitteilung in Chem. Abstr. From DE-OS 25 52 967 and the communication in Chem. Abstr. 105, 74 383 k (1986) shows that mixtures of certain 1,2,4-triazoles and other fungicidal agents used against phytopathogenic fungi can be. However, the azole component is completely different significantly from the tebuconazole. So in the cited publications No azole derivatives mentioned, in which the 1,2,4-triazolyl radical via a CH₂ group is connected to the carbinol carbon atom.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß die Wirkstoffkombinationen ausIt has now been found that the active ingredient combinations out

The good fungicidal activity of the active compound combinations according to the invention goes from the example below forth. While the individual active ingredients in the fungicidal The combinations show effect weaknesses an effect over a simple summation of effects goes out.
Fungicides always have a synergistic effect then before if the fungicidal action of the active ingredient combinations is greater than the sum of the effects of individual applied active ingredients.
Colby, S. R. "Calculating
synergetic and antagonistic responses of herbicide
combinations", Weeds 15, Seiten 20-22, 1967) wie folgt
berechnet werden:
WennThe expected effect for a given combination of two active ingredients can be calculated as follows (cf. Colby, SR "Calculating synergetic and antagonistic responses of herbicide combinations", Weeds 15, pages 20-22, 1967):
If
- X den Krankheitsbefall, ausgedrückt in % der unbehandelten Kontrolle, beim Einsatz des Wirkstoffes A in einer Konzentration von m ppm,X the disease infestation, expressed in% of the untreated control, when using the active ingredient A in a concentration of m ppm,
- Y den Krankheitsbefall, ausgedrückt in % der unbehandelten Kontrolle, beim Einsatz des Wirkstoffes B in einer Konzentration von n ppm undY the disease incidence, expressed in% of the untreated control, when using the active ingredient B in a concentration of n ppm and
- E den erwarteten Krankheitsbefall, ausgedrückt in % der unbehandelten Kontrolle, beim Einsatz der Wirkstoffe A und B in Konzentrationen von m und n ppm bedeutet,E means the expected disease incidence, expressed in% of the untreated control, when active ingredients A and B are used in concentrations of m and n ppm,
dann istthen
If the actual fungicidal effect is greater than calculated, the combination is superadditive in its effect, d. H. there is a synergistic effect. In this case, the infestation actually observed must be observed less than that from the above formula calculated value for the expected infestation (E).
The table in the following example clearly shows shows that the effect found of the invention Drug combinations is greater than the calculated d. that is, there is a synergistic effect.
For the preparation of a suitable preparation of active ingredient an injectable, commercially available active ingredient Formulation with water to the desired one Concentration diluted.
To test for protective efficacy one splashes young plants with the respective active ingredient preparation (individual active ingredients or combinations of active ingredients) to to dripping wet. After the spray coating has dried on 2 small botrytis cinerea overgrown on each leaf Pieces of agar placed on top. The inoculated plants will in a darkened, humid chamber at 20 ° C set up. 3 days after the inoculation, the size the infestation spots on the leaves were evaluated.
