Die Erfindung betrifft einen Eisenbahnpuffer mit röhrenförmigem Stößel. Gemäß der Erfindung ist an der äußeren Hülse ein Bolzen gelagert, der tangential zur äußeren Zylinderfläche des Stößels liegt. Gemäß der Erfindung ist in der Hohlkehle eines an der äußeren Pufferhülse angebrachten Ansatzes g ein Bolzen f herausnehmbar gelagert, der tangential zur äußeren Zylinderfläche des Stößels liegt und gegen Herausfallen durch einen Ring h nebst Splint i gesichert ist. Ein Drehen des Bolzens f in der Hohlkehle des Ansatzes g kann erforderlichenfalls durch eine Nase k o. dgl. verhindert werden. Der Bolzen f kann leicht eingesetzt und herausgenommen werden.
