im Hutkopf untergebrachten verstellbaren Reifen mit federnden: Schenkeln. Das Wesen
der Erfindung liegt darin, daß .die vorn sitzenden Reifenen:den schräg nach: oben
abgebogen und aneinander verschiebbar sind, während, fest am Reifen sitzende federnde
Schenkel in. schräg ,nach unten gerichtete Haken am. Hinterkopf auslaufen. Die federnden
Schenkel wirken in der Weise, daß sie sich nach dem Aufsetzen des Hutes mit ihren
schräg nach unten stehenden Haken gegen den Hinterkopf legen und vermöge ihrer Federkraft
den Hut mit seinem inneren Rande fest gegen die Stirn ziehen und gleichzeitig auch

jeweiligen Kopfweite entsprechend einstellen. zu können, tief in dem Hutkopf und
der die federnden Schenkel la, i tragende Teil des Reifens so tief an dem
inneren Hutrande zu liegen. kommt, daß seich die in schräg nach unten gerichteten
Haken d, c auslaufenden federnden. Schenkel h, i noch gut seitwärts bewegen lassen;
letzteres ist zum Aufsetzen des Hutes notwendig. In dieser Lage wird der Reifen
a mit seinem hinteren Ende an .dem inneren Hutrande an etwa drei Stellen festgenäht.
