Abstract

Description

Execution u. Structure of the invention:
Due to the previous bad harmful experiences with damage to the previous bow shapes u. Bug systems must be completely cut open on the nose to burn away the old bow. The remaining opening is pre-installed with a 6-column column one behind the other at a distance of 500 mm or, depending on the shape of the ship's hull, at a distance of 300 mm on a basic base. (Platform). Then these frames are arched with a ship's wall sheet casing and welded into the outer skin of the ship's hull. (Frame - 18 mm sheet metal - St. 60 steel grade)
In front of the Soz. At the tip of the bow, a knife edge oval and angled at an acute angle of 30 degrees to the rear is also cut out and installed in this column, totally welded. (Sheet thickness 35 mm St. 60 steel grade.) The knife edge and the 6 ribs result in a new constructional unit of a bullet-like piston on the nose, which produces a wonderful smooth aquadynamic shape against the water front.
All around, all abutting parts and surfaces are sanded clean and given the paint + a protective coat.

The purpose of a completely new bow shape as a knife edge against the flowing water and all hard foreign bodies is hereby fulfilled very well.

We gain multiple advantages through resistance to foreign bodies, icebergs and drift ice, swirling and braking resistance on the hull, protection against dents, dents and damage to the bow.
We gain a refinement of the flow conditions, reduction of driving resistance and fuel consumption while sailing on the high seas, etc.

At the seam of the bow we coat and assemble approx. 15 mm sheet metal over the outer skin of the ship wall sheet with a curvy bow wall reinforcement. (welded or riveted). Number - 7 ) - Number 1 - 6 are the frames. It should therefore be easy for any specialist to reproduce and produce this deformation.

A limit signal light is said to be on a bow mast Deck mounted and used to measure the hull end. Visible from the command bridge.

The construction can also be made of sheet steel Duralumin are manufactured, a special hard alloy, so to speak according to your choice.

The graphic representation of the knife cutting bow looks pulled apart on the drawing for clarity lies much closer.

Claims (2)

Oberbegriff:
Generic term:
1.) Knife cutting bow on the hull
Developed as protection against hard foreign bodies icebergs and floating ice - floating objects in the fairway. Production of an impact resistance without dents, without dents and without damage to the ship's hull as usual - Developed for the purpose of gaining more valuable flow conditions without braking turbulence when the ship is in motion. Slight increase in driving speed and reduction x in fuel consumption
Kennzeichnender Teil:
Characteristic part:
Characterized in that the bow shape constructed completely changed and has been deformed, a more valuable streamlined shape slimmer achieved aquadynamically without clumsy resistor (Aalformgebung). Elliptical by 6 ribs extra reinforced a much higher stiffening u. Shock resistance of the bow tip is generally produced, a hard repulsion resistance with recoil property arises when impinging unpleasant foreign bodies. At the very front, the water is cut and cut at an acute angle by a knife edge. Turbulence is reduced to a minimum, so the ship accelerates a little more, also characterized by the fact that behind the cutting bow, a sheet metal wall reinforcement overlays the previous hull, stabilizes it.
