Die Halter von Gardinenstangen, Treppenläuferstangen u. dgl. aus einem rechtwinkligen, an der Wand zu befestigenden Tragglied und einem drehbar an demselben sitzenden Schließglied haben im wesentlichen zwei Nachteile, insofern als die Gardinenstange u. dgl. gegen Längsverschiebung nicht gesichert und das Schließglied in der das Tragglied abschließenden Stellung nicht gesperrt ist. Diese Übelstände sind erfindungsgemäß dadurch beseitigt, daß das Tragglied einen die Längsverschiebung der Stange verhütenden Anschlag trägt und mit dem in wagerechter Ebene drehbaren Tragglied eine Sperrung bildet, die nach Drehen des Schließgliedes in die abschließende Stellung durch senkrechte Verschiebung desselben in Wirkung ,tritt.
