Abstract

1. Sheet-fed rotary printing machine of in-line construction for single-sided multi-colour printing or perfecting comprising at least one reversing device as well as devices for processing paper and cardboard, each printing unit featuring, besides a plate cylinder (11) and a blanket cylinder (10), an impression cylinder (13, 25) being an at least double-sized in diameter and a sheet transfer drum (12, 18), wherein one or several impression cylinders (25) can be converted into storage drums (14) each having at least two sheet-carrying surfaces, and wherein a sheet transfer drum following a respective convertible impression cylinder (25) is designed as a reversing cylinder (18) having at least two pincer gripper systems (19).
