Bei dem bekannten, gattungsgemäßen Verfahren (DE-OS 28 24 063), bei dem unterstellt werden kann, daß die Formgebung des Knochen-Implantates durch Kaltverformung erfolgt (»Medizinalmarkt« 9/1973, S. 296 bis 298), wird die Auflage auf das ggf. zuvor spanabhebend bearbeitete Knochen-Implantat aufgebracht, und zwar elektrolytisch im Rahmen eines Salzschmelzverfahrens. Dabei muß in Kauf genommen werden, daß die Auflage an keiner Stelle unmittelbar mit dem Metalltitan verbunden ist, sondern lediglich auf der Titanoxidschicht haftet, mit der sich Titan und Titanlegierungen im Kontakt mit Luftsauerstoff spontan überziehen. Die Haftung der Auflage ist daher nicht befriedigend. Das gilt insbesondere dann, wenn man die Auflage im Wege des Flammspritzens (DE-OS 23 13 678) aufbringt. Um auf insbesondere Zahnimplantate aus Titan oder aus einer Titanlegierung eine Interferenzoberflächenschicht aus Aluminiumoxid, Siliciumnitrid oder dergleichen aufzubringen, ist es bekannt (DE-OS 26 32 932), mit einem Ionenstrahl zu arbeiten, die Auflage also im Wege der Ionenplattierung aufzubringen. Überraschenderweise haftet eine im Wege der Ionenplattierung aufgebrachte Edelmetallschicht zunächst auf den Rohling so, daß diese Edelmetallschicht als Gleitschicht beim Kaltfließpressen funktioniert und das Kaltfließpressen des Rohlings aus einer Titanlegierung überhaupt erst ermöglicht, ohne daß Werkstück und Werkzeug verschweißen und die Oberfläche des Bauteils zerstört wird. Es versteht sich, daß der Kaltfließvorgang so geführt wird, daß das verdrängte, steigende Material nicht abreißt. Das gilt sowohl für die Titanlegierung a!s auch für die Edelmetallschicht. Eine derartige Führung des Kaltfließpreßvorganges ist durch entsprechende Werkzeuggestaltung und Einstellung der Verformungsgeschwindigkeit ohne weiteres möglich.
