Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Baustoffs. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuartigen Baustoffs als vorteilhafter Ersatz in technischer und wirtschaftlicher Hinsicht für Beton, Zement und Ziegel, welch letztere Werkstoffe heute schwer zu beschaffen und sehr kostspielig sind. Das hauptsächliche Merkmal der Erfindung besteht darin, daß Schleifsteinschlamm, Schmirgelscheibenstaub mit Eisenstaub, Sand und Asche in gleichen Teilen miteinander auf kaltem Wege unter Zusatz von Wasser innig vermischt werden, um einen zähen, dicken Brei zu erhalten, der nach Trocknen die Festigkeit von Stein mit geringer Porosität aufweist.Process for the production of a building material. Verwendung finden kann. Die Masse trocknet innerhalb weniger Tage und weist die Festigkeit von Stein bei geringster Porosität auf. Eine andere Verwendungsart der beschriebenen Masse besteht darin, daß man sie in Formen bringt und unter Druck auf kaltem Wege in die gewünschte Form preßt (z. B. Ziegelsteinform).
