Das vorliegende Verfahren, Knöpfe, besonders Schuhknöpfe, ohne Nähen zu befestigen, ist in beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellt.The present method of attaching buttons, particularly shoe buttons, without sewing is disclosed in US Pat shown in the accompanying drawing.

Zu meiner Knopfbefestigung benutze ich ein aus Blech ausgestanztes calottenförmiges Scheibchen A, das in der Mitte mit dem Schlitz B versehen und links und rechts davon muldenförmig eingedrückt ist, wie die Fig. 1, 2 und 3 in C C deutlich erkennen lassen; ferner gehört dazu ein Stift D, Fig. 4, aus dünnem Draht, sowie das in Fig. 5 und 6 dargestellte Plättchen E mit den beiden Löchern FF, welches zum Gebrauch in die in Fig. 7 und 8 dargestellte Form gebogen wird, so dafs die Löcher FF sich genau gegenüberstehen.For my button fastening I use a calotte-shaped disc A punched out of sheet metal, which is provided in the middle with the slot B and is indented to the left and right of it, as clearly shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 in CC; also includes a pin D, Fig. 4, made of thin wire, as well as the plate E shown in Fig. 5 and 6 with the two holes FF, which is bent for use in the shape shown in Fig. 7 and 8, so that the holes FF are exactly opposite each other.

Ein Vortheil dieser Stiftknopf befestigung ohne Nähen gegenüber anderen besteht darin, dafs die ganze Manipulation mit der Hand, ohne Zange oder dergleichen, geschehen kann, dafs der einmal so befestigte Knopf nicht wieder, es sei denn durch Gewalt, gelöst werden kann, und dafs die Oberfläche des Scheibchens ganz glatt ist und kein Theil vorsteht, der beim Anziehen oder Tragen der Stiefel z.
