Fire brigade information system, in particular fire brigade coordination panel, designed as a free-standing column construction of a fire brigade operations centre.

The invention relates to a fire brigade information system, in particular a fire brigade coordination panel, with a housing in which display, signalling and/or operating elements, e.g. a fire brigade display panel and/or a fire brigade control panel, are housed, protected against access by unauthorized persons, but accessible to authorized persons, wherein the said elements are arranged in the housing at least partially visible from the outside for rapid initial information, according to the preamble of protection claim 1.

Such a fire brigade information system is known, for example, from DE-GM 296 01 581.4 or DE 197 02 935 Al. The fire brigade display panel (FAT) can generally be an alphanumeric display device in accordance with European standard EN 54 for displaying the status of the fire alarm control panel for the object to be monitored.

The present invention is based on the object of designing a fire service information system of the type defined at the outset in such a way that faster access to all necessary operating and information means is provided, so that in the event of a fire or other relevant incident, simpler, faster and more precise coordination of the protective measures to be initiated is ensured.

According to the invention, the stated object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1, namely in that the fire brigade information system as a fire brigade operations center that can be accessed directly by fire brigade vehicles or can be reached from a short distance has a free-standing, weather-protected column construction for the housing that can be positioned outside the building, in particular in the forecourt, entrance or courtyard area of buildings, with a supporting substructure and a housing attachment sitting on the substructure - approximately at eye level of a person standing in front of it, wherein the substructure also contains at least one housing compartment for fire brigade-relevant functional modules.

Advantageous further developments are specified in the subclaims 2 to 10. The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are primarily to be seen in the fact that the new fire brigade information system according to the invention can be used as a fire brigade operations centre (abbreviated to "FEC").

called) supports the rapid and precise detection of a fire or other incident, which in turn enables on-site localization faster and more precisely than before. In this context, it is important that the arrival time of the fire brigade is not very influenced. Therefore, a precise information system for the fire brigade is all the more important.

Further features and advantages of the subject matter of the invention as well as its structure and mode of operation are explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.

A fire brigade information system FEC is shown in Fig. 1 and 2. This is in particular a fire brigade coordination panel with a housing designated as a whole with G, in which display, signaling and/or control elements E, e.g. a fire brigade display panel FAT and/or a fire brigade control panel FBF, are housed, protected against access by unauthorized persons, but accessible to authorized persons. The aforementioned elements E are arranged in part Gl of the housing so that they are at least partially visible from the outside for rapid initial information. For this purpose, the housing fields or compartments Fl, F2 are covered by a transparent pane GS1 or GS2 made of impact-resistant glass or the like.

According to the invention, the fire service information system FEC is designed as a fire service operations center that can be accessed directly by fire service vehicles or can be reached from a short distance and for this purpose has a free-standing, weather-protected column construction Gl, G2 for the housing G that can be positioned in an external area of a building, in particular in the forecourt, entrance or courtyard area of buildings, with a supporting substructure G2 and a housing attachment Gl sitting on the substructure G2 - approximately at eye level of a person standing in front of it, whereby the substructure G2 also contains at least one housing compartment 1 or 2 for fire service-relevant functional modules 3, 4. As can be seen, the substructure G2 is designed as a supporting, at least partially hollow column, which is provided with the housing compartments F3, F4. The "column" G2 can preferably be made of metal, e.g. sheet steel, and has a foundation (not shown) anchored in the ground (masonry or cast concrete). Steel cabinet, which can extend laterally and possibly also in depth beyond the substructure or column G2. This is a possible, inexpensive design. However, the housing attachment Gl can also be spherical, for example, and the substructure Gl can be tubular. In this case, housing flaps or doors or front-side boards of lockable inserts would have to be designed with a corresponding arch.

In the substructure G2, a housing compartment F3 with a fire brigade key depot 3 is preferably arranged, and below that a further housing compartment F4 with a fire brigade emergency key switch 4 or release element.

In the housing attachment Gl, in a first housing area Fl visible from the front, adjacent to a sub-area Fl. 1 for a fire brigade display panel FAT and/or a sub-area F 1.2 for a fire brigade control panel FBF, in the sub-areas Fl.3, Fl.4, further installation fields EF for optional installations, in particular a keypad for smoke and heat extraction (RWA keypad), and/or an electroacoustic (ELA) intercom with microphone 8, are provided. In the housing attachment Gl, adjacent to the first housing area Fl, a housing compartment F2 for accommodating a manual call point 5 is also arranged.

Furthermore, in the housing attachment Gl, adjacent to the housing areas or compartments Fl, F2 that can be covered by a first housing door 1, there is arranged a housing compartment F5 that can be covered by the second housing door 5 for the secure storage of information cards 6, namely fire brigade route maps, fire brigade operational plans and/or other relevant fire protection graphics, as can be seen from Fig. 2.

Both doors 1, 2, which in the example are designed as hinged doors, are lockable, whereby the door 1 for the housing area Fl, F2 is provided with a lock 7 which is designed for a fire brigade half-profile cylinder.

A flashing light module 10 is attached to a cover surface 9 of the housing attachment Gl. A lighting insert (not shown) can be provided in the housing attachment Gl, so that even in the dark, the information surfaces can be read from outside through the viewing windows GS1, GS2 and, when the housing door 2 is opened, the route maps, deployment plans and/or other fire protection graphics 6 contained therein can be read.

At least one monitoring device (not shown) can be attached to or in the column structure Gl, G2, with which alarm signals can be generated in the event of attempted damage to property or vandalism, which trigger optical and/or acoustic warning signals at the fire department operations center itself or, for example, at a monitoring station. The flashing light module can be controlled to emit flashing signals. For detection

Vibration and/or area monitoring detectors are suitable for detecting acts of damage.

Claims (10)

Fire brigade information system, in particular fire brigade coordination panel, with a housing in which display, signalling and/or control elements, e.g. B. a fire brigade display panel and/or a fire brigade control panel, protected against access by unauthorized persons, but accessible to authorized persons, wherein the said elements are preferably arranged in the housing at least partially visible from the outside for rapid initial information, characterized in that the fire brigade information system as a fire brigade operations center (FEC) that can be accessed directly by fire brigade vehicles or reached from a short distance has a free-standing, weather-protected column construction (G1, G2) for the housing (G) that can be positioned outside the building, in particular in the forecourt, entrance or courtyard area of buildings, with a supporting substructure (G2) and a housing attachment (G1) sitting on the substructure - approximately at eye level of a person standing in front of it, wherein the substructure (G2) also contains at least one housing compartment (F3, F4) for fire brigade-relevant function modules ( 3 , 4 ). 2. Fire brigade information system according to claim 1, characterized in that a housing compartment (F3) with a fire brigade key depot ( 3 ) is arranged in the substructure (G2). 3. Fire brigade information system according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a housing compartment (F4) with a fire brigade emergency key switch ( 4 ) or release element is arranged in the substructure (G2). 4. Fire brigade information system according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that in the housing attachment (G1) adjacent to a front-side visible first housing area (F1), namely a partial area (F1.1) for a fire brigade display panel (FAT) and/or a partial area (F1.2) for a fire brigade control panel (FBF) in a likewise visible partial area (F1.3), further installation fields (EF) for optional installations, in particular an electroacoustic (ELA) intercom station and/or a keypad for smoke and heat extraction (RWA keypad), are provided. 5. Fire brigade information system according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a housing compartment (F3) for information cards ( 6 ), in particular fire brigade route maps, fire brigade operational plans and/or other relevant fire protection graphics, is arranged in the housing attachment (G1) adjacent to the first housing area (F1). 6. Fire brigade information system according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a housing compartment (F2) for or with a manual call point ( 5 ) is provided in the housing attachment (G1) adjacent to the first housing area (F1). 7. Fire brigade information system according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a lockable door ( 1 ) for the first housing area (F1) is provided with a lock ( 7 ) which is designed for a fire brigade half-profile cylinder. 8. Fire brigade information system according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a flashing light module ( 10 ) is attached to a cover surface ( 9 ) of the housing attachment (G1). 9. Fire service information system according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that a lighting insert is provided in the housing attachment (G1), so that even in the dark, the information surfaces and, when the housing attachment is opened, the route maps, operational plans and/or other fire protection graphics provided therein can be read from outside through the viewing windows. 10. Fire brigade information system according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that at least one monitoring device is attached to or in the column construction (G1, G2), with which reporting signals can be generated in the event of an attempt at damage to property or vandalism, which trigger optical and/or acoustic warning signals at the fire brigade operations center itself or, for example, at a monitoring station.
