Description Criticism of the state of the art

Rotating press columns (40) (mobile and rotating press sales stands) usually have a 5-armed tube base (41) or a sheet metal or tube disc with articulated rollers. A vertical round tube (42) is welded onto the center of this base construction. A round tube (43) with a larger diameter (inner diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of the centrally welded stand tube of the base construction) is placed onto this stand tube. This plug-in tube can now rotate on the round tube. To advantageously support the rotation, a ball bearing ring (14) can be placed between the base construction and the plug-in tube. For this purpose, a corresponding disc or disk is welded to the end of the tube as a support surface (13). A sliding aid (advantageously at the end of the tube), usually a plastic sleeve, can also be inserted between the two tubes.

As a rule, several horizontal frames (44) made of tubular, sheet or flat iron are welded to this rotating attachment tube. Various product-supporting elements, e.g. so-called press ladders, are then attached to these frames using various press-holding structures. These press holders can consist of newspaper or magazine compartments (31) or wire bracket flaps (30). The press products are presented almost vertically in these holders.

This entire press sales holder, consisting of a plug-in tube (43), several holding frames (44) and usually 4 items of product-supporting elements (press ladders) (e.g. 30,31), is mounted on the base construction so that it can rotate, i.e. the actual press sales holder can rotate "in itself" independently of the castors of the base construction. Head signs, head rings (45) or even roofs for advertising are usually mounted above the press holders.

Such a rotating press column usually has 4 sides (the side length is determined by the width of the press products presented), which are equipped with the various press holders mentioned. Due to the type of construction, base with only one central standpipe construction, the equipment options, i.e. the sales volume, of such a rotating press column is very limited, as it easily becomes unstable. In addition, the interior (size is determined by the width of the press products presented in the square) of the rotating press column cannot be used for storing press products due to the central standpipe construction, e.g. by using baskets (19) in which the press products could advantageously lie horizontally.

Such press rotating columns can be rotated on the foot rollers and "inside" themselves due to the central tube construction. The designs of such a described press rotating column (40) and of press ladders with wire bracket flaps (30) and with press compartments (31) are shown in Figure 1 of the state of the art. However, only with 2 of the usual 4 press ladders.

In addition to these rotating press columns, so-called press towers (50) are also used in the trade. These press towers basically consist of 4 vertical standpipes (1) which are connected to form a square with sheet metal, flat iron or pipe connections (2) at the top and bottom. These (e.g.) sheet metal connections (2) are advantageously used as advertising space.

The vertical standpipes (1) are usually provided with articulated rollers. Two opposite sides of the press tower constructed in this way are provided with press ladders, i.e. ladders with flat newspaper or magazine compartments (31) or with wire-clip flaps (30) for the vertical presentation of press products. The other two sides are provided with press baskets (19) for the advantageous, horizontal (almost) storage of press products, making use of the interior space . This design is shown in Figure 2 of the state of the art, but with only one basket ladder and one wire-clip flap ladder.

This described construction of press towers (50) allows a very large filling quantity by utilizing the interior space. In addition, such a tower has a high level of stability due to the four external standpipes, despite the great weight of the press products.

The disadvantage of this design is that such a press tower cannot be rotated "in itself" and the press sales holder cannot be rotated. Since space is often limited in retail, the press tower is often placed in front of a wall so that one side is not accessible. Placing it in a corner is no problem. In this case, 2 sides are not accessible. Due to the difficulty in rotating it (only rotates on the rollers + high weight of the equipment), a customer will only rotate the press tower in exceptional cases to reach the wall side(s).

Task and purpose of the invention

It is intended to be a (mobile) press sales stand, a so-called press rotating tower, with internal, rotating press sales brackets, which combines the advantages of the well-known press rotating column (rotatability "in itself") and the well-known press tower

(high press loading capacity using the interior space, high stability) and eliminates the disadvantages of the press rotating column (lower press loading capacity and stability) and the press tower (no possibility of turning "inside itself").

Means and ways of solving tasks

The base frame of the developed press rotating tower consists of 4 standpipes (1) (e.g. square or round tubes) which are connected with sheet metal, flat iron or tubes (2) at the top and bottom. The standpipes are advantageously provided with (mobile) articulated rollers. One such design, with advantageous sheet metal connections (2) as advertising space, is shown in drawing 1.

Two opposing standpipe connections (2) are connected in the middle with a sheet metal, profile, flat iron or rectangular tube cross member (3+4). A complete sheet metal can also be used instead of this cross member.

A round pipe socket (5) is attached to the middle of the lower cross member (3). The upper cross member (4) has a central hole (6). The design is shown in the top view of drawing 1. There is now space between the lower and upper cross members for the press sales bracket.

The actual press sales bracket, which is rotatably inserted between the lower (3) and upper (4) crossbeams, consists, among other things, of an upper (7) and lower (8) holding element for screwing on product-supporting elements (30) (e.g. press ladders).

These holding elements (7.+8.) are made from folded sheet metal (9), preferably square, or a pipe or flat iron construction (10) with the same function. The upper (7) bracket has a round pipe socket (11) in the middle, pointing upwards, while the lower (8) bracket has a pipe socket (12) pointing downwards. A disk (13) (open in the middle) is welded to the end of the lower pipe socket (12) as a support surface for a ball bearing ring (14). The pipe diameter of the pipe socket (12) of the lower holding elements (8) is chosen to be slightly larger than that of the pipe socket (5) of the lower cross member (3), since these pipes are placed one above the other in a rotatable manner.

The upper and lower holding elements (7+8) are connected (preferably screwed) to the goods-bearing elements (30) (e.g. press folding bracket ladders). This entire press sales bracket is now placed on the round pipe socket (5) of the lower cross member (3). A ball bearing ring (14) is preferably placed between them.

A bolt (15) (preferably made of abrasion-resistant plastic) is inserted through the hole (6) in the upper cross member (4) into the round tube socket (11) of the upper holding element (7). The entire press sales bracket (upper and lower holding elements connected to goods-bearing elements, e.g. newspaper ladders) is now rotatably mounted between the cross members (3+4) of the connections (2) of the standpipes (1).

Drawing 2 shows the alternative holding elements (7 or 8 and 10) and the design of the entire press sales bracket.

Thanks to the 4 external standpipes, this press sales stand (press rotating tower) has a very high level of stability and can carry a very large filling quantity or a large weight.

However, the design described above with goods-carrying elements screwed on four sides, e.g. press ladders with newspaper compartments (31) or wire bracket flaps (30), do not make full use of the available interior space between the ladders.

It is therefore advantageous to use additional or alternative, diagonally or flatly arranged baskets (19) for storing press products that make use of the interior space. In order to keep the overall dimensions of the sales stand (press rotating tower) as small as possible, a ladder with baskets (19) is usually only used on one side. In principle, however, this is possible on two sides or all sides.

For the advantageous one-sided use of basket ladders for the (almost) horizontal storage of pressed products, the advantageous holding elements (10) made of tubular or flat iron are selected. Drawing 3 shows such an advantageous possibility.

The example holding element (10) consists of a horizontal square tube (16) with flat iron (17) welded to the front sides (2 sides) and a U-shaped bent sheet metal part (18) welded in the middle, which protrudes on one side and is provided with holes in the protruding bevel (in a screw connection). In the upper holding element, the bevels of the sheet metal part advantageously point downwards (welded to the square tube (16)), while in the lower holding element the bevels advantageously point upwards (welded under the square tube (16)). Elements that support goods on 3 sides can now be screwed or welded, for example, to the 2-sided flat iron (17) and the bevel of the sheet metal part (18). A pipe socket (11) pointing upwards is welded onto the upper holding element (10), while a pipe socket (12) pointing downwards is welded onto the lower holding element (10).

This construction enables the opposing use of product-supporting elements (press ladders), ladders with newspaper compartments (31) or wire bracket flaps (30) for newspapers or magazines (advantageous due to their low depth). The two press ladders are attached to the flat irons (17) of the holding elements (10).

A ladder (20) with baskets (19) for the inclined, almost or completely horizontal storage of pressed products can now advantageously be attached to the protruding folded sheets (18) of the holding elements (10) (see drawing 3).

In addition, press compartments (31) for the vertical storage (flat design) of pressed products can usually be attached to the other side (opposite the baskets). A cross-section of such a press ladder with press baskets (19) and press compartments (31) is shown in drawing 4. Drawing 5, top view, shows the very advantageous use of the interior of an exemplary press rotating tower constructed in this way: the external dimensions are very compact and the interior is fully utilized. The developed press rotating tower has a high level of stability thanks to the 4 external standpipes and can bear a high filling weight. In addition, the product-bearing elements attached to the interior can be rotated thanks to the development described and are therefore very easily accessible.

Claims (9)

1. Press rotating tower with internal, rotating press sales holders, characterized in that the base frame consists of 4 standpipes ( 1 ) or profiles which are connected in the upper and lower areas with sheet metal, flat iron or tubes ( 2 ) to form a square, two (or more) of these upper and lower connections ( 2 ) are additionally connected with a crossbeam (3 + 4) made of sheet metal, tube or profile and a rotating press sales holder can be inserted between the upper and lower crossbeams. 2. Press turret according to claim 1, characterized in that articulated rollers, with and without locking devices, are attached to the four standpipes ( 1 ). 3. Press turret according to protection claims 1 + 2, characterized in that the lower cross member ( 3 ) is provided with a pipe socket ( 5 ) pointing upwards and the upper cross member ( 4 ) is provided with a hole ( 6 ) and serves as a device for a press sales holder. 4. Press rotating tower according to protection claims 1-3, characterized in that the rotatable, inserted press sales holder consists of an upper ( 7 or 10 ), a lower ( 8 or 10 ) holding element and various goods-bearing elements, e.g. newspaper ladders with compartments ( 31 ), with wire bracket flaps ( 30 ) or with baskets ( 19 ). 5. Press turret according to protection claims 1-4, characterized in that the upper ( 7 ) and lower ( 8 ) holding elements consist of folded sheet metal ( 9 ), advantageously square, or of a tubular, flat iron and/or folded sheet metal construction (e.g. 10) and the upper ( 7 ) holding element is provided with an upwardly pointing round tube socket ( 11 ) and the lower ( 8 ) holding element is provided with a downwardly pointing round tube socket ( 12 ), advantageously with a welded-on, centrally open disk ( 13 ) (support surface for ball bearing ring). 6. Press turret according to protection claims 1-5, characterized in that the lower pipe socket ( 12 ) with welded disk ( 13 ) of the press sales holder is rotatably attached to the pipe socket ( 5 ) of the lower cross member ( 3 ) of the base frame, advantageously with a ball bearing ring ( 14 ) placed in between, and the upper pipe socket ( 11 ) of the press sales holder is guided under or into the hole ( 6 ) of the upper cross member ( 4 ) of the base frame and is rotatably locked with a bolt ( 15 ) and 1 or cotter pin. 7. Press turret according to protection claims 1-6, characterized in that the lower cross member ( 3 ) and the upper cross member ( 4 ) are provided with holes ( 6 ) and the round tube sockets (11 + 12) of the upper and lower holding elements (7 + 8 or 10) are inserted into the holes ( 6 ) of the cross members and a welded, centrally open disk ( 13 ) (support surface for ball bearing ring ( 14 )) is not located at the end of the tube socket ( 12 ) of the lower holding element ( 8 ), but a few centimeters in front of it, so that the tube end piece ( 21 ) is rotatably locked in the hole ( 6 ) of the lower cross member ( 3 ) and the press sales holder is rotatably locked by the thus welded disk ( 13 ) of the tube socket ( 12 ), advantageously with a ball bearing ring ( 14 ) placed between them. 8. Press rotating tower according to protection claims 1-7, characterized in that the press sales holder is equipped with 2 opposite press ladders with wire bracket flaps ( 30 ), a press ladder with baskets ( 19 ) and a press ladder with compartments ( 31 ) or instead of the basket ladder ( 19 ) and the compartment ladder ( 31 ) a combined basket and compartment ladder (drawing 4) and advantageously the interior of the press sales holder or the rotating tower is used. 9. Press turret according to protection claims 1-8, characterized in that the press turret is equipped with a roof which can be inserted into the standpipes ( 1 ) (or is firmly connected), advantageously pyramid-shaped with water drainage channels (drawing 6).
