Description:

The invention relates to cable routing channels according to the preamble of claim 1.

Cable routing ducts have been around for a long time. Their job is to ensure that electrical cables and pipes are laid in an aesthetically pleasing and technically flawless manner. They are available in a wide range of sizes, cross-sections and colors. The most common are cable routing ducts with a rectangular cross-section.

Cable routing ducts usually consist of at least two parts, the duct base, which usually has a U- or C-shaped cross-section, and the snap-on cover. If electrical installation devices are to be installed, either device installation boxes adapted to the duct installation are used in conjunction with standard electrical installation devices or installation devices designed for direct installation. The installation boxes or devices are usually attached to retaining strips provided on the rear wall of the duct base, or to internal partition and assembly walls. The duct cover is recessed at the point where the electrical installation devices are located. A device cover covers the openings between the installation device and the duct base or cover.

The present invention is based on the object of specifying a cable guide duct which, with fewer individual parts, provides the same functionality as the commercially available cable guide ducts and which can be assembled and, if necessary, disassembled in less time.

This problem is solved by a cable routing channel with the features of claim 1.

Thanks to this invention, the electrical installation devices are optimally accessible. Thanks to the possibility of opening the cover that supports the devices, electrical cables can be easily retrofitted. There is no risk of losing the cover or the device panel.

According to a first advantageous development of the invention, a cutout for a device installation box is integrated into the front plate of the cover. This allows the use of commercially available boxes, for example commercially available cavity boxes.

According to a preferred variant, the device installation box is integrated directly into the front panel of the cover. The cover and installation boxes form a unit.

If a device cover is desired for aesthetic reasons, the lid is advantageously equipped with devices for snapping this device cover on.

The locking device on the lid and the lower part of the channel, which is provided on the edge of the lid opposite the joint and whose task is to lock the lid in the position of use on the lower part of the channel, can have several locking positions according to a preferred development of the invention. This allows the lid to be fixed in a partially open position if this is desired.

The invention will be explained in more detail in the form of an embodiment using the drawing. They show purely schematically and in cross section

Fig. 1 and 2 each show purely schematically and as a cross-section a cable routing duct, consisting of a duct base 10 with a U- to C-shaped cross-section, a cover 20 and a device installation box 23. The cover 20 has a front plate 21, which can be pivoted at its upper edge with the duct base 10 using a joint 14 and can be fixed at its lower edge to the duct base 10. The cover 20 and duct base 10 are equipped with corresponding locking devices 15, 22 for this purpose.

The channel base 10 has a rear wall 11 and two side walls 12. The swivel joint 14 is provided on the upper channel side wall 12, and on the lower

Channel side wall 12 or a narrow front strip 13 provided there in the present embodiment, the locking device 15 which corresponds to the locking device 22 of the cover 20.

The front strip 13 essentially has the task of preventing cables laid in the duct base 10 from falling out when the cover 20 is opened.

A device mounting box 23 is integrally integrated into the cover 20 or its front panel 21.

Fig. 2 shows the cable guide channel of Fig. 1 with the cover 20 open. Through the gap thus formed, cables 4 can be inserted into the channel base 10 if required.

Claims (5)

1. Cable duct, essentially comprising - a channel base ( 10 ) with a U- or C-shaped cross-section, - a loose cover ( 20 ) with a front plate ( 21 ), - and devices for fastening electrical installation equipment ( 1 , 2 ) characterized by the features: - the lid ( 20 ) - simultaneously forms the means for fixing the electrical installation equipment ( 1 , 2 ), - is hinged to the channel base ( 10 ) with a joint ( 14 ) and - can be fixed to the duct base ( 10 ) by means of a locking device ( 15 , 22 ). 2. Cable guide channel according to claim 1, characterized by the feature: - A cutout for a device installation box is integrated into the front plate ( 21 ) of the cover ( 20 ). 3. Cable guide channel according to claim 1, characterized by the feature: - A device mounting box ( 23 ) is integrated into the front panel ( 21 ). 4. Cable guide channel according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized by the feature: - the front plate ( 21 ) of the cover ( 20 ) has devices for snapping on a device panel ( 2 ). 5. Cable guide channel according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized by the feature: - the locking device ( 15 , 22 ) has several locking positions.
