Description

Electronic showcase detector

The invention relates to an electronic combination showcase detector for protecting works of art stored in these showcases against theft in the form of a burglar alarm.

It is known that zero-displacement force sensors can be used for various applications, such as overload protection, limit switches, membrane keyboards or similar. These essentially consist of semiconductor grid structures vapor-deposited on a carrier foil. Due to the non-linear characteristic curve, these sensors are hardly suitable for force measurement, as a considerable amount of linearization effort is required.

It is also known to use sensors to prevent theft, such as spring systems that require a certain distance to determine an applied force.

The invention aims to ensure complete security of the contents of display cases. Furthermore, a detector is intended to significantly reduce the installation effort in any display case and in other closed containers and rooms.

This is solved according to the invention by the characterizing parts of claims 1 and 2.

The invention is explained in more detail below using an embodiment.

The functionality is shown schematically in the circuit arrangement according to Fig. 1.

Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of the combination of the electronic linking of the individual detectors in perspective view.

The showcase detector VM 8 consists of the combination and partial electronic linking of the following individual detectors:

Passive infrared motion detector PIE 5 Vibration or shock detector EM 4 - Opening detector (magnetic switch) ÖM 1

When installed accordingly, the PIR 5 magnet signals the opening of the display case door 7. The PIR 5 passive infrared motion detector detects any intrusions into the interior of the display case. In an OR connection, the EM 4 vibration detector detects mechanical attacks on the display case 6 or on parts in the display case. The small size of the VM 8 display case detector allows it to be used in small display cases. The sensitivity setting of the EM 4 vibration detector allows it to be adapted to different types of display cases. The reliable monitoring of the display case contents is guaranteed when there is public traffic, during night-time operation or during other monitored operations. Three well-known detector principles are combined mechanically and electronically in one device so that seamless monitoring of the display case contents is possible with minimal installation effort.

Claims (2)

1. Electronic showcase detector for continuous monitoring of showcases in the form of a burglar alarm, characterized in that known individual detectors, such as passive infrared motion detector PIR ( 5 ), vibration and/or shock detector EM ( 4 ) and opening detector ÖM ( 1 ) are mechanically integrated in a housing and on a circuit board and are electronically combined by an OR link of the passive infrared detector PIR ( 5 ) with the vibration or shock detector EM ( 4 ). 2. Electronic showcase detector according to claim 1, characterized in that three known different types of detectors, opening detector ÖM ( 1 ), vibration detector EM ( 4 ) and passive infrared motion detector PIR ( 5 ) are combined in one device as a burglar alarm.
