The utility model relates to a display attached to a shirt or blouse cuff, preferably for a clock, compass, thermometer, barometer, appointment planner, minicomputer and/or navigation device.

State of the art

Until now, portable devices such as clocks, compasses, thermometers, barometers, appointment planners, navigation devices or minicomputers have been used either as pocket or wrist devices such as pocket watches or wrist watches.

The disadvantage of pocket devices is that they can only be read with difficulty after being taken out of the pocket.

For wrist devices, an additional, tight-fitting wristband is necessary, which only allows space for a few devices, usually only for the watch, for example.

Furthermore, visibility is often hindered by clothing worn over it.

Task and solution

According to the proposal, this is solved by fastening one or more of the above-mentioned devices 4, 7 to a spring-loaded or foldable retaining clip 5, which in turn is inserted from the open side onto the cuff 2 of the shirt or blouse sleeve 1 in such a way that the textile material of the cuff is clamped between the clamp legs of the retaining clip.

Furthermore, according to the proposal, inward-directed spikes 6 are attached to the inner sides of the legs of the retaining clip 5, which pierce the textile material of the cuff 2.

The proposal will be explained below using an example. The principle shown in Fig. 1 means:

In Fig. 1, a retaining clip 5 is attached to a watch 4 by gluing or riveting or some other joining method. Alternatively, the retaining clip 5 is molded or cast onto the device housing as a single piece. This retaining clip is inserted into the cuff 2 from the side of the wearer's hand 3.

In Fig. 2, the spikes attached to the inside of the spring retaining clip 5 can be seen.

Fig. 3 shows a display consisting of a clock 4 and a compass 7, which are mounted together on a retaining clip.

A display attached to a shirt or blouse cuff, preferably for a clock, compass, thermometer, barometer, appointment planner, minicomputer and/or navigation device, characterized in that one or more of the said devices 4 , 7 are attached to a spring-loaded or foldable retaining clip 5 , which in turn is inserted from the open side onto the cuff 2 of the shirt or blouse sleeve 1 in such a way that the textile material of the cuff is clamped between the clamp legs of the retaining clip. 2. A display according to claim 1, characterized in that inward-directed spikes 6 are attached to the inner sides of the legs of the retaining clip 5 , which pierce the textile material of the sleeve 2 .
