Mechanical dental care instruments (toothbrushes) of the usual design are not suitable for dental care on their own or only to a limited extent. The pin of the conveying disc rests in the spiral guide rail of the outer cylinder (5). If the rotary knob (8) firmly connected to the inner cylinder (3) is now turned, the conveying disc moves upwards in proportion to the rotation, guided by the guide rails of the outer (5) and inner (6) cylinders.
