Claims

1. Tubular packaging, in particular for foodstuffs in piece form, which contains the product in a welded plastic tube, characterized in that the packaging ( 1 ) has a tear-open aid ( 7 ) in the region of a weld seam ( 2 ) and is provided with a sticker ( 3 ), the side ( 5 ) of which facing the weld seam ( 2 ) is designed as a curved tear-off edge ( 4 ) which is suitable for catching a tear originating from the tear-open aid ( 7 ) and guiding it to the edge ( 9 ) of the packaging ( 1 ).

2. Tubular packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the tear-off edge ( 4 ) runs essentially perpendicular to the edge ( 9 ) of the packaging.

3. Tubular packaging according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the tear-off edge ( 4 ) is formed by a quarter-circular cutout in a corner region of the sticker ( 3 ).

4. Tubular packaging according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the tear-off edge ( 4 ) has an elongated S-shaped configuration.

5. Tubular packaging according to claim 4, characterized in that the tear-off edge ( 4 ) of the sticker ( 3 ) follows a sinusoidal curve.

6. Tubular packaging according to claim 5, characterized in that the tear-off edge has an amplitude in its course which amounts to 10 to 20% of the length of the curve.

7. Tubular packaging according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the tear-off edge ( 4 ) runs around an axis ( 8 ) which intersects the edges ( 5 , 6 ) of the sticker ( 3 ) at an angle α of approximately 120° to 150°, preferably 135°.

8. Tubular packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sticker ( 3 ) is guided around the edge ( 9 ) of the tubular packaging ( 1 ).

9. Tubular packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sticker ( 3 ) is a label.

10. Tubular packaging according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the sticker ( 3 ) is a stretched tubular strip made of a transparent plastic material.

11. Tubular packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tear-open aid ( 7 ) is a notch or weakening in a weld seam ( 2 ).

12. Tubular packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tear-open aid ( 7 ) is identified by a color marking.

13. Sticker ( 3 ) for a tubular packaging ( 1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, in particular in the form of a label.
