BESCHREffiUNGDESCRIPTION
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Einheit bestehend aus einem Radiator und einem Konvektor mit elektrischen Heizelementen.The present invention relates to a unit consisting of a radiator and a convector with electrical heating elements.
Bekanntlich werden zur Beheizung von Gebäuden normalerweise Zentralheizungsanlagen verwendet, bei denen ein Kessel Heißwasser oder Dampf erzeugt, welche durch die in den verschiedenen Räumen aufgestellten Radiatoren zirkuliert werden. Die Heizung des Raumes erfolgt durch Konvektion (die den Heizkörper umgebende Luft erwärmt sich und steigt nach oben und erzeugt so eine natürliche Luftzirkulation) und durch direkte Abstrahlung vom Radiator. Wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich ist, besteht die Heizeinheit 10 aus einem Radiator 12 und einem Konvektor 14. Der Radiator 12 ist nach der Art eines sogenannten "Serviettenwärmers" ausgebildet und weist, wie deutlicher aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist, zwei vertikale Sammelrohre 16 bzw. 18 auf, die miteinander durch eine Reihe von horizontalen Rohren 20 verbunden sind, so daß das in einem Kessel (nicht gezeigt) erzeugte Heißwasser oder der Dampf, die an einer Seite eines der beiden Sammelrohre zugeführt werden, aus dem Ende des anderen Sammelrohres austreten können, nachdem sie die Rohre 20 durchströmt und einen Teil ihrer eigenen Wärmeenergie an die Umgebung (die sich auf einer niedrigeren Temperatur befindet) abgegeben haben.
