Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Schutzabdeckung für elektrische Installationsgeräte gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Die Erfindung kann zur Abdeckung von Installationsgeräten der Hausinstallationstechnik (Unterputzeinsätze), wie insbesondere Steckdosen, Schalter und sonstige Unterputz-Geräteeinsätze, vor Maler-, Tapezier- und Renovierungsarbeiten verwendet werden.The invention relates to a protective cover for electrical installation devices according to the preamble of claim 1. Die Schutzabdeckung ist universell zur Abdeckung von Steckdosen und Schaltern geeignet, d. h. es müssen nicht unterschiedliche Modelle für Steckdosen und Schalter hergestellt, bevorratet und benutzt werden, sondern es genügt ein einziges Modell. In Fig. 1 ist eine Sicht auf die Rückseite einer Schutzabdeckung dargestellt. Die Schutzabdeckung 1 weist eine rechteckförmige, der Fläche des Unterputzeinsatzes eines üblichen Installationsgerätes angepaßte Abdeckplatte 2 auf, in welche eine im mittleren Bereich angeordnete, aus der Oberseite ragende Vertiefung 3 eingeformt ist, welche zur Aufnahme von Schalttasten geeignet ist. An zwei sich gegenüberliegenden Rändern dieser zentralen Vertiefung 3 schließen sich zwei weitere zur Oberseite ragende Vertiefungen 4, 5 an, welche zur Aufnahme von Schutzleiterkontaktbügeln geeignet sind.Fig. 1 shows a view of the back of a protective cover. Zweckmäßig weisen die einzelnen Tragelemente auf den geeigneten Einsatz hinweisende Kennzeichnungen auf, damit die störenden Tragelemente vor dem Einsatz der Schutzabdeckung entfernt werden können.In the above embodiment, four support elements are provided, but this is not the only possible embodiment.
