Die Erfindung sieht demnach ein Dampfbügeleisen vor, das in Kombination mit Bügelbrettern mit eingebautem Exhaustor zur Dampfbeseitigung verwendbar ist. Das Dampfbügeleisen enthält eine Steuereinrichtung 9, die mit dem Solenoidventil 7 zur Steuerung des Dampfdurchgangs von dem Dampferzeuger 2 zu dem Bügeleisen versehen ist, welches durch den das Bügeleisen verbindenden und trennenden bzw. einschaltenden und ausschaltenden Schalter betätigbar ist, um gleichzeitig mit dem Solenoidventil 7 den Exhaustor zu Beginn und am Ende des Bügelvorgangs einzuschalten und auszuschalten.
