Double chamber container for drinks

This invention relates to the field of beverage containers and more particularly to a beverage container with two chambers.

Conventional beverage containers are designed to hold only one type of beverage, so that multiple containers are required to transport different types of beverages, which causes a lot of inconvenience.

The invention is therefore based on the task of creating a container for drinks that eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a container according to claim 1. A further development of the invention is specified in the dependent claim.

According to a feature of the invention, the container contains two chambers for holding different types of beverages.

According to a further feature of the invention, two types of beverages can be mixed in the container to produce a third flavor.

According to yet another feature of the invention, the double-chamber container has a simple construction.

According to yet another feature of the invention, the double-chamber container is easy to manufacture.

For a better understanding of the principles of the invention, reference is now made to the embodiments shown in the drawings. The invention will be described in a specific manner. However, it is to be understood that the scope of the invention is not to be limited by changes and further modifications of the device shown, such further applications of the principles of the invention shown here being considered which are more suitable for the

As shown in the drawings and in particular in Figures 1 and 2, the container according to the invention generally comprises a rectangular outer shell 6 and a rectangular first chamber 66. The rectangular first chamber 66 is dimensioned to fit within the rectangular outer shell 6. The rectangular first chamber 66 is fitted into the rectangular outer shell 6 so that the outer bottom of the former contacts the inner bottom of the latter. The tops 6A, 6B, 6C and 6D of the rectangular outer shell 6 are folded in such a way as to close off the top thereof, whereby a second chamber 666 is formed between the inner top of the rectangular outer shell 6 and the outer top of the rectangular first chamber 66. The second chamber 666 can thus be filled with a second type of beverage.

Fig. 3 shows another construction of the invention. As shown, three rectangular first chambers 66 are fitted into the rectangular outer shell 6.

As shown in Figures 4A and 4B, a drinking straw 8 can be used to pierce through the rectangular outer shell 6 into the second chamber 666 and drink the first type of beverage. After the beverage has been drunk from the second chamber 666, the same drinking straw 8 can be used to pierce into the rectangular first chamber 66 and drink the second type of beverage. Alternatively, a drinking straw 8 can be used to pierce through the outer shell 6 and the first chamber 66 to mix the two different types of beverage to obtain a third flavor.

Fig. 5A shows a second practical embodiment of the invention. Figs. 6A and 6B show the operating principle of the second embodiment.

It is to be understood that any of the elements described above or two or more elements together may also be used in other types of processes that are different from the one described here.

While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and set forth in the appended claims, it is not intended to be limited to the details shown above, since it is understood that those skilled in the art may make various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the form and details of the device shown without in any way departing from the scope of the invention.

Without further elaboration, the above description discloses the basis of the invention in a manner sufficiently complete to enable it to be readily adapted to various applications by others using their current level of knowledge without omitting features which, in view of the state of the art, constitute essential characteristics of the general aspect or specific aspects of this invention.

marked by an outer shell (6) with a top; and a first chamber (66) dimensioned to fit within the outer shell (6) so as to form a second chamber (666) between an outer top of the first chamber (66) and an inner top of the outer shell (6); wherein the container can accommodate two types of beverage, so that a drinking straw (8) can be used, with which it is first pierced through the outer shell (6) into the second chamber (666) to drink a first type of beverage and then, when the first type of beverage has been drunk, it is pierced into the first chamber (66) to drink a second type of beverage. 2. Container according to claim 1, characterized in that the outer shell (6) and the first chamber (66) contain different types of drinks which can be mixed together by using a drinking straw (8) to pierce the outer shell (6) and the first chamber (66) to obtain a third flavor.
