Der Verschluß dieser profilierten Seitenkante kann auf verschiedene Weise erfolgen. Da durch die profilierte Form die Ausbildung einer umgelegten Verschlußklappe in Ermangelung einer geraden Faltlinie meist nicht möglich sein wird, kann die Verbindung durch eine stumpfe Verleimung, d.h. eine Verleimung der beiden unmittelbar aufeinander liegenden Flachmateriallagen, erfolgen.
