Ein seitlicher Druck auf die Rollen erfolgt, abgesehen von dem zu ihrem Vorschub erforderlichen geringen Druck, nur bei den beiden gegenüberliegenden Dichtungsstellen c und d, die den Druckraum von dem Saugraum der Pumpe trennen. Diese Stellen sind so kurz wie möglich gehalten, d. h. ihre Länge ist nur wenig größer als der Abstand der Rollen, so daß im allgemeinen nur je eine Rolle an den beiden Trennungsstellen zur Abdichtung und damit unter seitlichen Druck kommt, die anderen Rollen also ohne Druck und Reibung laufen.In the circular housing α , the cylindrical body b rotates, which has recesses on the circumference for receiving rollers.
