Ein derartiger, an ein Türschamier angeschlossener Türfeststeller, insbesondere für Kraftwagentüren ist insbesondere aus der DE-OS bekannt geworden. Solche Türfeststeller zeichnen sich einerseits durch die Fähigkeit zur Aufbringung sehr hoher Brems-und Haltekräfte und andererseits, vor allem bei einer in das Scharnier integrierter Ausbildung, durch einen vergleichsweise sehr geringen Bedarf an Einbauraum sowie eine extrem geringe Anzahl an Bauteilen aus. Diesen Vorteilen steht aber der Nachteil gegenüber, daß derartige Türfeststeller in einem erhöhten Ausmaß anfällig sind auf eindringende Verschmutzungen oder aber eine innerhalb des Feststellers entstehende Korrosion und daraus resultierende Abriebe, wobei eindringende Verschmutzungen zum einen zu einer höchst unerwünschten Geräuschentwicklung innerhalb des Türfeststellers und zum anderen zu einer Verfälschung der aufzubringenden Brems-und Haltekräfte führen, dahingehend, daß die für die Feststellung der Kraftwagentüre in einer bestimmten, vorgebbaren Offnungsstellung geforderten Brems-und Haltekräfte nicht mehr in den konstruktiv durch die Gestaltung der Umfangskonturen von Innenumfangsfläche des Haltergehäuses und Außenumfangsfläche des Eingriffsteiles vorgezeichneten gegenseitigen Verdrehstellungen von Haltergehäuse und Eingriffsteil, sondern in einerSuch a door stop connected to a door hinge, particularly for car doors, is known in particular from DE-OS. Claims

1. Door stop connected to a motor vehicle door hinge, consisting of a braking and holding body connected directly or indirectly to one half of the hinge in a rotationally secure manner and a holder housing connected to the other half of the hinge in a rotationally secure manner, the braking and holding body being formed by an engagement body having an outer peripheral contour deviating from the purely circular shape and the holder housing being formed by a hollow profile section having an inner peripheral contour marking at least one braking or holding position, characterized in that the engagement body forming the braking and holding body is arranged in the axial extension of the hinge pin fixed in a rotationally secure manner in one half of the hinge and the holder housing is arranged in the axial extension of the hinge eye of the other half of the hinge and that the holder housing is provided with a liquid-tight casing made of a plastic material which extends over at least its longitudinal extent and its free end face.
