Description

The innovation relates to a lace-up shoe according to the generic term of claim 1.

Lace-up shoes, which also include lace-up boots and in particular boots used for sporting purposes, such as snowboard boots, inline skating boots, hiking boots, mountain boots, etc., are laced using a lace that is threaded through several eyelets on the top of the boot, with the two ends of the lace being knotted to secure the lacing or being fixed to the boot using a holding or clamping device.

A major advantage of lace-up shoes is that the pressure exerted by the boot or shoe on the foot is distributed relatively evenly and the shoe can still be soft and flexible. The disadvantage of conventional lace-up shoes, however, is that tightening the laces and tying the two ends together only takes

can be done with two hands. Another disadvantage, especially with lace-up boots with longer laces, is that the friction of the laces on the individual eyelets is relatively high and increases with the pulling force applied due to the deflection of the laces on the individual eyelets. If the pulling force is only applied to the ends of the laces, the boot is laced more tightly in the upper area than in the toe area.

To solve this problem, DE 39 20 266 Al proposes a boot lacing system in which only one lace is used, with one end of the lace being attached to the shoe in the forefoot area and the lace

In DE-GM 1875054, a conventional cross lacing is shown, whereby the two lace ends are fixed by means of clamping devices attached to the shoe, each of which is formed by an eyelet with a pivoting eccentric in it.

From US 2,869,204, a clamping device is known for fixing the lacing, in which the laces are clamped between a coil spring and a V-shaped contact surface, whereby the coil spring is lifted to release the lacing.

However, the clamping devices of these boots are expensive and complex, only have their holding power when there is sufficient tensile force and can become loose when the load changes.

The aim of the innovation is to improve the lace-up shoe of the type mentioned at the beginning so that, while retaining the quick and easy fastening and loosening of the lacing, the lace-up shoe can be produced more cost-effectively with one hand and the fixation also holds under lower forces and during load changes.

This object is achieved by the features specified in claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the innovation can be found in the subclaims.

The innovation is based on the idea of providing a winding element at one or both ends of the laces to adjust the length of the laces and to fix the laces to the shoe using a Velcro fastener.

The user only needs to "adjust" the length of the laces once with the winding element and then tighten the laces and fix them with the Velcro fastener, which is very quick and easy to do. A cost-effective winding roll can be used as the winding element, for example, and commercially available Velcro fasteners or Velcro fastener strips that work together with them can be used as the Velcro fastener.

Preferably, the Velcro strip is attached to the side of the shoe or boot and one end of the Velcro tape is connected to the winding element. The Velcro tape or the winding element can be easily grasped by hand, so that even greater lacing forces can be easily applied.

According to a further development of the innovation, the Velcro strip is arranged in the ankle area of the lace-up shoe, with the laces being fastened via a first,

The laces can be tied in a "zig-zag" manner, with only one end of the laces being fixed with a Velcro fastener and the other end of the laces being fastened, for example, in the forefoot area of the shoe. Ease of use can be further improved if the Velcro fastener strip is arranged in the area of the outer ankle and the first deflection element in the area of the inner ankle, so that the Velcro fastener on the left or right shoe can then be reached very easily with the left or right hand. The laces run in the area between the Velcro fastener strip and the first deflection element essentially across the instep, which enables a high degree of forward bending flexibility, which is desirable, for example, in hiking boots or flexible snowboard boots.

As an alternative to zigzag lacing, a conventional cross lacing can also be used, where both lace ends are fixed to the shoe with a Velcro fastener.

According to a further development of the innovation, the winding element has a circumferential groove-like recess, the cross-section of which decreases towards the center of the winding element.

Such a recess can be V-shaped, for example, and allows the wound-up shoelace to be clamped in, so that the shoelace length is maintained even when the lacing is loosened and only needs to be adjusted once.

As an alternative to the lacing types mentioned above, other lacing types can also be used, for example two separate laces are provided, one of which covers the forefoot area up to the instep, while the other covers the area from the instep to the shaft.

First, reference is made to Fig. la, which shows a laced boot 1 using the example of a single-track roller skate (so-called inline skate). The laced boot 1 has a lace 2 with a first end 3 and a second end 4, which is attached to the laced boot 1 in the toe area. The lace 2 runs from the first end 3 via a first deflection element 5 (shown in dashed lines) and further deflection elements 6 in a zigzag pattern to the toe area of the laced boot 1 and to the second end 4, respectively. The deflection elements 5 and 6 are shown here as lace hooks, as are known from hiking boots, for example.

The lace-up boot 1 also has a shaft element 11, which is connected to a foot part 13 of the lace-up boot 1 via a joint 12. In the calf area of the shaft element 11, an elastic calf support 14 is provided, which primarily serves to improve the wearing comfort of the lace-up boot 1. A tongue 15 of the lace-up boot 1, which is raised up to the height of the calf support 14, is held by a belt 16, which encloses the shaft element 11. The belt 16 can be opened or closed, for example, using a Velcro fastener. Alternatively, a buckle fastener can also be provided on the belt 16.

A chassis 17 with several rollers 18 is attached to the lace-up boot 1, whereby a runner can alternatively be provided, which enables use as an ice skate. The lace-up boot 1 can also be designed as a snowboard boot, as a hiking or mountain boot, as a surfing shoe, etc.

In Fig. Ib, the laced shoe 1 is shown with the lacing loosened, where the Velcro fastener tape 9 is removed from the Velcro fastener strip 10 and the strap 16, which here also has a Velcro fastener 9' or 10', is opened.

Fig. 3-5 show different variants of the lacing, whereby the lacing is guided upwards to the height of the boot shaft and the deflection elements 6 are formed by deflection rollers, which enable an even more even distribution of the lacing force due to the lower friction.

In Fig. 3, the shoelace 2 is crossed in the conventional manner. In contrast to Fig. 1a and 1b, a winding roll 8 or 8' and a Velcro fastener tape 9 or 9' are provided at both ends 3 or 4 of the shoelace 2, whereby the Velcro fastener tape 9 is arranged on the outside of the shaft element 11 and the Velcro fastener tape 9' can be fastened to the inside of the foot, which is hidden here.

Fig. 4 shows a laced shoe 1 that has two separate laces 2.1 and 2.2. The lace 2.1 is crossed in a conventional manner, analogous to Fig. 3, and laces the forefoot area, with a Velcro fastener 9 or 9' being provided at the lace ends 3.1 and 4.1. The second lace 2.2 is zigzagged and cross-free from the middle instep area up to the shaft height. The first end 3.2 of the lace 2.2 is fixed to the outside of the shaft element 11 by a Velcro fastener and the second end 4.2 is attached to the laced shoe 1 in the instep area.

In Fig. 5 the lacing types of Fig. 3 and 4 are shown

combined with each other. In the forefoot area up to about the instep, the cross lacing of Fig. 3 is used. Furthermore, one end 4 of the shoelace 2 is connected to the shoelace 2, for example knotted, so that from the deflection element 6' only one end 3 is guided upwards in accordance with the shoelace 2.2 of Fig. 11, whereby in this embodiment only one winding roll 8 or one Velcro fastener tape 9 is required.

Finally, it should be noted that other lacing variants are also possible and that the laced shoe according to the innovation can also have an inner shoe, whereby the inner shoe can also be a full-fledged shoe or boot, so that the laced shoe according to the innovation can take on the function of a binding for a piece of sports equipment and is, for example, attached to a snowboard or a single-track roller skate, whereby the user then steps into the shoe according to the innovation, which acts as a binding, with a normal sports shoe as an inner shoe.
