Abstract

The invention relates to a seal security label (2) for bottles (1) or similar. The label consists of non-pasted aluminium foil and its basic shape is essentially that of a "T" or an anchor. The strip- or web-type area is connected to the seal (3) in such a way that it tears when the seal (3) is opened. In this way, the inventive label provides optical security for the seal and the risk of tampering going unnoticed is drastically reduced.
