Die herkömmliche Krawatte fliegt schon bei schwachem Luftstrom aus der senkrechten Position und bei stärkerem Wind von vorn auch oft Ober die Schulter des Trägers und hängt so ziemlich deplaciert auf seinem Rücken. Das bisherige Gegenmittel - Krawattennadel und Krawattenhalter sind bei Anwendung sichtbar und werden wegen des oft unerwünschten "Schmuck-Effektes" vielfach nicht getragen. Ein weiterer Grund für die Ablehnung dieser Halter besteht häufig darin, daß die Handhabung dieses getrennt einzusetzenden Hilfsmittels oftmals als etwas lästig und unbequem empfunden wird.The traditional tie flies out of the vertical position even with a weak air flow and often over the wearer's shoulder when there is a strong wind from the front and hangs rather out of place on his back.
