Playground, especially table football

The invention relates to a game system, in particular a table football game system with a playing field formed by a profiled table top, with side walls enclosing the playing field on all sides and having opposing goals, furthermore with controllable player figures arranged locally in the playing field and with a system for returning the game balls to the kick-off point.

Play facilities of the type described above are known in principle. They have been introduced in a variety of configurations and different sizes and have attracted interest from both young and old.

Table football machines are known in which the typical moves that determine the course of the game are imitated on appropriately designed playing fields, which are also equipped with surface effects. As with indoor football, the football is played back and forth between the goals using the side walls and the head walls, with player figures arranged on poles attached across the playing field, with several groups of figures distributed over the length of the playing field being able to be moved back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the playing rods and also swiveled. This allows the football to be stopped or picked up and immediately shot again. One or more people can play on the playing rods, although of course there is always an equal number of people playing and the playing rods are operated accordingly. The game balls are initially no longer available to the players after they have been shot into the goals. They are collected in the underground area and made available for the next game until they are finally returned to the kick-off point on the playing field by a suitable device or by hand throw-in.

The score is recorded by counters on both sides of the game, so that it is easy to determine which team has won the game.

Controlling the game by pulling back and forth or by moving the playing rods and simultaneously turning the player figures to play the ball is unrealistic in several respects and not particularly suitable for the playful exercises aimed at with such play systems for developing reaction speed and increasing the dexterity of the players.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a game device, in particular a table football system with clearly improved playing properties, whereby both the player figures and the player movements should appear more lifelike so that their ball-playing skills can be more effectively brought to the fore and whereby, in addition, the players and the nature of the playing field should give this field game a previously unattainable dynamic progression.

This object is achieved according to the invention with the design features characterized in the first patent claim, whereby specific features of the system and functional properties thereof are also described or shown in the associated subclaims.

These arrangements and measures mentioned there enable a previously unattainable dynamic style of play, which gives this play facility a high play and entertainment value while providing the appropriate level of comfort.

The table football game system 1, which is shown in its overall view in Fig. 5, consists essentially of a table body 2, the side walls 5 provided with opposing goals 3 and 4, the player figures 6, the goalkeepers 7 as well as control or operating elements 8 and goal displays 9, the functional details of which are to be presented in more detail below.

A profiled table top 10 designed as shown in Fig. 4 is arranged on the table body 2 and is attached in a fixed but replaceable manner, the characteristic feature of which is that its surface is composed of interrupted, partly regular and/or irregularly shaped surfaces 11, which each have an all-round slope to their center points, which correspond to the locations 12 of the player figures 6, while a circular surface section 14 surrounding these locations 12 is flat.

The bases 15 that hold the player figures 6 are placed in these flat circular surface sections 14, as is indicated in Fig. 1 with the symbolic table surface like a player figure. As is also shown there, the player figures 6, i.e. the field players, were designed to be movable in a new and advantageous way, such that the shooting leg can be moved at the same time as the entire figure 6 at the front in the indicated direction of the arrow "a", and the same can execute a circular pivoting movement, ζ, e.g. to hit the ball away, while the entire figure rotates.
For this purpose, the player figure 6 is hinged with its supporting leg 16 to a bolt 17 provided in the base 15, which acts as a one-armed lever, and is constantly held in this position by a leaf spring 18. The player figure 6 is supported with its foot part 19 at the same time on a ram 20 which passes through the base 15 and which in turn is supported by a spring tongue 21 of a ram rod 22. The ram rod 22 is accommodated and designed as a two-armed lever in the bearing block 23 and can therefore, when actuated in the direction of arrow "b" via the ram 20, set the player figures 6 in action, i.e. into a shooting action, in order to move the ball in the direction of arrow "a". Furthermore, a cord wheel drive 25 is mounted on the lifting push rod 22 in the control button 24, which is connected to the base 15. With the help of this, the base 15 with the player figure 6 arranged on it, which serves as a field player, can be set in a rotating or pivoting movement to one side or the other in addition to the shooting action, if required during play.

The goalkeepers 7 are, as shown in Fig. 2, also figures designed to be movable, where the body 27 is held firmly by a pin 28 in an operating head 29 with a hand knob 30 and can be swiveled in a selectable angle range α. With such a swivel movement, the entire figure is therefore movable. The upper body 31 of the goalkeeper 26 can be swiveled on a pivot pin 32 so that his arms can be moved both in the direction of arrow "c" and in the direction of arrow "d", while the legs 33 or feet under

Under the influence of this body pivoting movement, a movement is made in the direction of the arrow "e" or "f".

For the return of the ball to the kick-off point in the middle of the playing field, an inclined rolling plane 34 is arranged underground in a manner known in principle, on which the balls 35 shot into the goal collect, for example in a kind of gutter, as is shown in Fig. 3.

The accumulated balls 35 are held by a pivoting flap (not shown in detail) that operates automatically, e.g. by different mass forces, until they are transported upwards in the ball chute 37 to the starting point of the playing field by a lifting piston 36, thereby unlocking the pivoting flap.

The lifting piston 36 is actuated by linkage levers 38 and 39 attached to both sides of the game system, which, hinged to a double-acting deflection lever 40 and pulled in the direction of arrow "g", act on the conveyor lever 41 and convey the ball 35 removed from the ready position upwards to the kick-off point of the playing field. The lifting piston 36 initially remains there until it becomes necessary to fetch a new ball.

Claims (6)

Claims for food 1. Game system, in particular table football game system with a playing field formed by a profiled table top, with side walls enclosing the playing field on all sides and having opposing goals, furthermore with controllable player figures arranged locally in the playing field and with a system for returning the game balls to the kick-off point, characterized in that - the individual player figures (6) are each arranged standing on a base (15) that passes through the table support (10) and can be brought into a defensive or shooting position by a lifting device that passes through the base (15), consisting of a manually operated two-armed tilting lifting push rod (22) together with a lifting push rod (20) and by a rotary drive consisting of a rotatable control button (24) arranged on the tilting lifting push rod together with a rotatably driven cord wheel connected to the base (15), whereby - the player figure (6) is hinged with its supporting leg (16) to the base (15), thereby forming a pivoting lever, in such a way that when an actuating stroke is carried out and with the aid of the lifting plunger (20) on the supporting leg (16), a ball-shooting movement is caused on the shooting leg that is firmly connected to the player figure (6), while when the operating button (24) is rotated, the player figure (6) and thus the shooting leg can be optionally swung out to either side, and that - the drive or control elements in the form of the lifting push rod (22) and the rotary drive in the form of the cord wheel (26) are housed in the underfloor of the table top (10) and are each arranged in a fixed position, and finally that - the shooting leg of the player figures (6) is brought into shooting motion by a lifting rod (22) which is hinged on the one hand to the base (15) and on the other hand to the player figure body and that -2- - the goalkeeper (7) is controlled separately by a lever drive, whereby arms and legs can be brought into respective swinging movements by a central pivoting mechanism (28, 29, 30). -2- 2. Game system according to claim 1, characterized in that the supporting leg of the player figures (6) is designed as a lever mechanism, the force arm of which is brought into operative connection with the lifting plunger (20). 3.
