Elektromotorbetriebener, treppentauglicher Rollstuhl.Electric motor-powered wheelchair suitable for stair climbing.
Severely disabled people who can hardly move without a wheelchair have problems moving on uneven ground, etc., also on steps, stairs, etc. In mud, wet grass or in the woods, wheelchairs quickly sink in due to their high weight and small footprint, are no longer maneuverable, etc. With wheelchairs, it is impossible to climb several steps, even with help from others, a motorized wheelchair cannot go up or down a normal staircase. If curbs, etc. are driven over, the balance has to be laboriously balanced and the unstable wheelchair hits hard after every obstacle, etc.
Elektromotorbetriebener, treppentauglicher Rollstuhl.Electric motor-powered wheelchair suitable for stair climbing.
Die mehrheitlich frontal ausgeführten Bewegungen mit bisherigen Rollstühlen, können nun erledigt werden, ohne jedesmal extra rangieren zuWith the wheelchair that can be used on stairs and is off-road (angle of 50° possible), the physically disabled person is enabled to lead a more independent, self-reliant life. He sits in a seat that is supported on three sides, according to his requirements. The seat is attached in the middle of the carriage and can be raised from a minimum seat height of 575 mm to a maximum seat height of 875 mm. Bank counters, public telephones, ATMs, etc. can be reached without any problems. Higher lockers, etc. become accessible. The movements that were mostly carried out frontally with previous wheelchairs can now be carried out without having to maneuver each time.

The carriage can be positioned lengthways or crossways, as the seat can be rotated 360° on the vertical axis. A row of market shelves etc. can be approached from the left and right without having to control the carriage.
Der tiefe Schwerpunkt und der Allradantrieb ermöglichen esWhen driving off-road (forest paths, etc.), conventional wheelchairs are almost impossible to control, as is the case when several steps have to be overcome, etc. Since the carriage has six wheels (balloon tires) and the drive and batteries are located close to the ground, this wheelchair has an extremely low center of gravity, which results in very favorable pitch, yaw and roll axes. If a staircase is approached in a downward direction, the first pair of wheels rolls over the first step, changing the angle of inclination of the carriage. The seat is forced to control this angle of inclination and tilts backwards accordingly. The second pair of wheels (middle) tilts the seat further backwards, etc. If the carriage is completely on a staircase, the angle of inclination is approx. 45° and the seat is tilted backwards by this factor. The driver is therefore still on the original, horizontal seat level. Two wheels are on each step, etc. Since balloon tires are filled with gas, they cushion the transition from step to step. (100 mm springy tire sidewall) When the carriage has reached the end of the stairs, it changes its angle of inclination and this controls the seat surface consistently in its horizontal plane. Abrupt changes in the current upper body position are thus efficiently prevented, stairs, etc. can only be comfortably navigated in this way. The same applies when driving up hills, mountains, etc. The low center of gravity and the four-wheel drive make it possible

Der Körperbehinderte kann mit dem Rollstuhlsystem Lebensqualität zurückgewinnen.to do things for the disabled person which they were previously unable to do and which were almost impossible even with outside help. If a physically disabled person wanted to drive a car themselves, for example, they had to get into the car and load the wheelchair, etc. This device makes it possible, for example, to drive into the back of a minivan, etc., up to the driver's seat. The carriage is in front of the steering wheel (driver's seat removed) and is anchored to the vehicle floor (belts, etc.). The optimal driving position can be set using the seat height adjustment, and the body position can be adjusted using the seat angle. It is now possible to drive a vehicle without having to leave the wheelchair or needing outside help. If the carriage is to be transported, it (without the seat) has a small volume of around 0.27 m 3 and weighs, depending on the drive motor(s) and battery size, 60 to 100 kg. When driving off-road or up and down stairs, the seat should be right at the bottom to achieve the best possible center of gravity. If the angle of inclination of the carriage changes by more than 20°, a driving program should be activated that maintains and slows down the speed of the carriage at around 1 cm per second. At angles of inclination of more than 50°, an immediate emergency stop should be activated to avoid accidents. An additional roll bar, weather protection (with solar cell panel to extend the operating time) or a lockable shopping container would be useful additional equipment. The driving and adjustment functions of the wheelchair can be controlled using a stick or push buttons with two fingers. Lever forward is for forward travel, lever up is for seat height adjustment, etc. The seat rotation control should be separate to avoid incorrect operation. With gel batteries and powerful small electric motors, a continuous operating power can be achieved that is long enough for daily use. The physically disabled person can regain their quality of life with the wheelchair system.
