Sie bestehen vielfach aus zwei unterschiedlich geformten, abgewinkelten Blechen, die so miteinander verbunden sind, daß sie ein Gelenk ergeben. Sie besitzen speziell ausgebildete Beschläge zum Einhängen in die Stuhlgestelle und zu deren Arretierung in einem vorgegebenen Winkel. Eine derartige Verbindung ist jedoch nur mit vergleichsweise hohem technischen Aufwand unter Einsatz unterschiedlicher Beschläge zu realisieren.
