Bei bisherigen wechselrahmenartigen Konstruktionen wird die gewünschte Individualität jedoch durch die Auswechselbarkeit des Bildes geschmälert. Das Schmuckteil weist ein Trägerteil 10, bestehend aus einem Boden 12 und einem umlaufenden Rand 14 auf. Die Form dieses Trägerteils 10 kann frei gewählt werden. Es kann beispielsweise als Guß- oder als Drehteil ausgebildet sein. In dieses Trägerteil 10 ist mittels einer Klebeschicht 25 eine Bildeinlage 20 auf den Boden 12 aufgeklebt. Das Trägerteil 10 ist bis zur Oberkante 15 des Randes 14 mit Gießharz ausgefüllt, so daß eine Deckschicht 30 entsteht. Um eine ansprechende Oberfläche der Deckschicht 30 zu erhalten, kann diese geschliffen und poliert werden. In Fig. 1 ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel gezeigt, bei dem die Deckschicht 30 bündig mit der Oberkante 15 des Randes 14 verläuft.
