Gattungsgemäße Container werden zum Sammeln von Abfällen, vor allem aber auch im Zusammenhang mit dem Recyceln von Wertstoffen verwendet. Weiter ist nicht auszuschließen, daß bei schlechter Witterung Niederschlagswasser in das Behälterinnere dringt und das Sammelgut durchnäßt. Das führt bei Papier und Pappe, die das Niederschlagswasser aufsaugen, zu erhöhtem Transportgewicht, Altkleider können dadurch für den Weiterverkauf in Second-Hand-Läden unbrauchbar werden. Protection claims:

1.
