Sanitary cells in plastic and mixed construction are suitable for subsequent installation, primarily due to their modular construction and low weight. The individual elements of the sanitary cells can be transported through existing staircases and doorways and installed in closed rooms without much effort.

The individual elements are assembled using screw connections that are attached from the outside of the sanitary cells. The prerequisite for assembling the individual elements is that the sanitary cell is freely accessible from all sides and that there is sufficient space for assembly. After assembling the individual elements, the finished sanitary cell is pushed into position, connected and clad on the outside on at least two sides.

Sanitary cells in plastic construction and mixed construction can therefore only be used in cases where there are rooms with sufficient space for assembly.

They are therefore used where the first installation of bathrooms is involved.

They are not suitable for renovating or modernising existing bathrooms for two main reasons:

1. The space required for assembly and the resulting loss of remaining usable space make rational use of the remaining bathroom space almost impossible. The loss of remaining usable space caused by the assembly of the sanitary cells can be up to 50%, depending on the dimensions.

2. For later maintenance work, the individual elements of the sanitary cells must be able to be repeatedly dismantled without causing any damage. This is also not possible due to the external screw connections in current sanitary cells.

The invention relates to the development of a prefabricated sanitary cell in modular construction, which is suitable both for installation in new buildings and for subsequent installation in old buildings and no longer requires the space required for assembly that is freely accessible from all sides as is the case with conventional sanitary cells.

The special feature of the invention relates to the possibility of assembling the individual elements from the inside of the sanitary cell. The design of the invention is designed in such a way that at least one element of the sanitary cell can be repeatedly assembled and disassembled from the inside without causing any damage.

The entire component as a group of elements should first be considered using Figures 1 + 2.

This component consists of the upper part 1, the floor 2, the wall elements 3, the door frame 4 and the supporting structure 5 + 6.

Fig. 3,4 + 5 show the details necessary to explain the concept of detachable connections.

Fig. 3 shows the side view of the support structure, 5 steel beams, 7 clamp holders and a section through a wall element consisting of 14 support cores, 13 plastic surfaces, 12 ceramic tiles, 8 clamps and 1 upper part + 2 base.

Fig. 4 shows another assembly unit with 5 steel beams, 1 upper part, 2 base, 3 wall element, 9 clamp holder, 10 tenon holder +

11 retaining pins.

Fig. 5 shows details of another detachable connection, namely 3 wall element, 5 steel beam, 7 clamp holder, 8 clamp and

12 ceramic tiles.

Claims (1)

Protection claims 1. Wall elements that can be repeatedly assembled and disassembled from the inside without causing any damage for direct installation in an existing support structure.
