In dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist dieser Abschnitt (2) als Gitterzaun ausgeführt, der aus mehreren beabstandeten Vierkantpfosten (3), von der Ein- bzw. Ausbruchsseite her an den Pfosten (3) befestigten Stahlgittermatten (4) und von der Gegenseite her mit möglichst geringem Abstand zu den Stahlgittermatten (4) zwischen den Pfosten (3) befestigten durchsichtigen Kunststoffplatten (5) besteht. Die durchsichtigen Kunststoffplatten (5) sind mittels Flansche (bei 6), die als Winkelprofile ausgeführt sind, zwischen und an den Pfosten (3) befestigt. Die Flansche (6) sind dabei an den Pfosten (3) angeschweißt. Dabei können die Flansche lediglich als Anlagefläche für die Kunststoffplatten (5) dienen, wobei dann die Befestigung dieser Kunststoffplatten über Hakenschrauben mit den Stahlgittermatten (4) erfolgt. Dadurch brauchen diese Kunststoffplatten zum Biegen nicht vorbehandelt zu werden, wie z. B. durch Erwärmung. Die Platten (12) sind aus dem gleichen Kunststoffmaterial hergestellt wie die durchsichtigen Kunststoffplatten (5). Die Platten (12) sind auf Stoß an den aus einem Hohlprofil hergestellten Armen (11) mittels Verschraubung befestigt. Dabei sind sowohl der Schraubenkopf als auch die Schraubenmutter pilzkopfförmig abgeflacht, so daß diese weder als Steighilfe noch als Hintergriff für ein Seil oder Wurfanker dienen können.
