In Entkupplungsstellung der Einstellschlitten 7.1 und 7.2 wird der in die Betriebslage geschwenkte Exzenterantrieb 16 in Betrieb gesetzt. Hierdurch wird der Stab 2 0 in Schwenkbewegung versetzt. Dadurch führen über den gemeinsamen Nocken 20.2 alle Kipphebel 11.2 entgegen der Kraft des Federelements 15 eine Schwenkbewegung aus. Hierdurch führen die Schneiddrähte 14 bei einer der Hubfrequenz des Exzenters 16 entsprechenden Schneidfrequenz einen dem Exzenterhub direkt entsprechenden oder einen über- oder untersetzten Schneidhub 23 aus. Die zu schneidenden Schaumstoffblocke werden in diesem Betriebszustand durch den Schneidrahmen transportiert und - falls gewünscht - unter Beheizung der Schneiddrähte 14 zerschnitten.
