The invention relates to a column-like shelf with a support column, which has movable but lockable holders on the column, with plate parts provided vertically to the support column, which have an opening through which the column reaches, with a support surface on the holder on which the plate parts rest, here the plate parts are fixed on their upper side by a clamping part provided on the column-like support, wherein the plate part is arranged between the clamping part and the holder.

Such shelves are popular because they make a good visual impression in the living area, especially when the plate parts are made of glass. the column-like support. The plate part is then located between the bracket and the clamping part. The disadvantage of such designs was that if the bracket or clamping part was not screwed on properly, it could easily happen that the plate part slipped along the column or tipped over. In addition, taking into account the bulkiness of the plate part, the fastening of the clamping part and the bracket is difficult to carry out.

The object of the invention is therefore to design a column-like shelf of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that the plate parts are securely and easily held on the column and the fastening is simple and cost-effective. Nevertheless, a secure hold should be guaranteed. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the holder has a sleeve-like section that reaches through the opening in the plate part and is arranged around the support and that the clamping part can be fastened to the section. Through these measures, the plate part is fastened to the sleeve-like section and the clamping part without coming into direct contact with the column. The clamping part, holder and plate part form a unit. As soon as the holder is attached to the column, the plate part is securely arranged on the column. The sleeve-like section creates a kind of additional effect when fixing, since uneven loading causes the sleeve-like section to tilt with the bracket, so that the existing unit then experiences an additional, friction-locked holding force. The assembly of the unit consisting of the plate part, bracket and clamping part can take place without the bracket having to be already arranged on the column-like shelf.

Advantageously, the clamping part is designed like a hollow cylinder and is provided with an internal thread and the sleeve-like section of the holder has an external thread. The clamping part is screwed onto the section so that the plate part is securely fastened via this screw connection. In this embodiment, the holder can also be arranged on the column-like part first, the plate part is then placed on the holder and the sleeve-like section protrudes through the plate part, and then finally the clamping part is screwed onto the section. Again, secure fastening is guaranteed.

In a special embodiment of the invention, the sleeve-like section has individual tongues on its outer surface, which can be pressed against the column-like support by a thickening at the end of the clamping part. This measure automatically ensures that the plate part is secured to the bracket and clamping point when it is attached to the column-like support.

In a special embodiment of the invention, the hollow cylinder-like holder has a groove-like recess on its inner wall, in which a metallic pressure part is arranged, whereby screws move the pressure part against the column-like support for fastening. This measure allows the holder to be fixed without damaging the column-like support, but nevertheless a good fastening is provided.

It is particularly advantageous if the hollow cylinder-like holder with section has an inner coating. This inner coating increases the coefficient of friction between the holder and section on the one hand and

column-like support on the other hand, so that even with a small force the bracket with clamping point is fixed to the column-like support via the screw fastening.

The column-like shelf consists of a column-like support 10 on which several plate parts 11 are arranged at a distance. The plate parts can be designed as a glass base, which has an opening 24 in the middle through which the support passes.

A holder 12 is used to secure the plate parts, onto which a sleeve 13 is formed. This sleeve is pushed into the opening 24 of the plate part until the plate part 11 lies on the support surface 20 of the holder. The holder is provided with several threaded holes 14 into which grub screws 15 can be screwed in so that the holder 12 can be secured to the carrier 10 with friction. In the area of the threaded holes, a groove-like recess 16 is provided inside the holder. This recess is intended, on the one hand, to accommodate any

to prevent burrs from the inner bore from reaching the column-like support and serves to accommodate a pressure part (not shown), which is then engaged by the screw 15 in order to move the pressure part against the column-like support so that it holds the bracket in a frictional manner.

The sleeve 13 is provided with an external thread 17. A clamping point 18 with an internal thread 19 is screwed out of this external thread, and this clamping point 18 has a pressure surface 21 on the side facing the plate part 11.

In the embodiment according to Fig. 3, the sleeve 13 of the holder 12 has tongues 22. These tongues are also provided with the external thread on their outward-facing side. The clamping point 18 is then screwed onto the tongues, which in this embodiment has thickenings 23 at the end of the thread, through which the tongues are pressed against the column-like support 10 during the screwing movement of the clamping point, so that in this case too a secure holder is provided, in this case the screw connection can also be present on the holder itself. The thickenings can be formed by compressing the end of the clamping part in the area of the internal thread, or by applying material there.

As already mentioned, the embodiment shown is only an example of the implementation of the invention. It is not limited to this. Rather, many other modifications and applications are possible, for example the inner casing of the sleeve could be provided with a coating.
