Ski-Schlittenlenksteuerungen üblicher Bauart bestehen im wesentlichen aus einem Lenk-Ski und zwei starren Seiten-Skiern. Sie haben den Nachteil, daß sie sich nicht mit der gewünschten Stabilität steuern lassen, da ein seitliches Wegrutschen beim Lenkvorgang nicht verhindert werden kann und somit zügige Richtungswechsel erschwert werden.Ski sled steering controls of the usual design essentially consist of a steering ski and two rigid side skis. Gemäß Fig.l und 2 wird durch Drehen des Lenkrades (9) nach rechts (links) zum einen der Lenk-Ski (1) direkt nach rechts (links) gedreht, zum anderen wird ein in der Lenkachse befindliches Zahnrad (2) ebenfalls nach rechts (links) gedreht. Mittels einer Antriebskette (3) und zweier Führungszahnräder (7) wird die Kraft auf zwei Führungsstangen (6), die starr mit den Seiten-Skiern (4) befestigt sind, übertragen, die somit nach links (rechts) gezogen werden und über eine Lenkstange (8) mittels zweier Gelenke (10) beweglich miteinander verbunden sind. Aufgrund der starren Befestigung der Führungsstangen (6) mit den Seiten-Skiern (4) führt dies nun zu einer seitlichen Kippbewegung der Seiten-Skier (4) nach links (rechts). Der Neigungswinkel der Kippbewegung richtet sich dabei nach der Lenkbewegung. Er nimmt mit steigender Lenkbewegung zu.
