The invention relates to a clock with a dial and rotating hands and with or without a date display, preferably a wristwatch.

There are timekeeping devices, especially pocket watches and wristwatches, which, in addition to telling the time, also provide information about the date, the day of the week, the month and, if applicable, the phase of the moon.

The present invention is intended to improve a timepiece of the type mentioned at the outset in that, in addition to the additional displays mentioned, further important information is presented to the viewer.

This is achieved by a clock of the type mentioned above having 7 additional digital displays (1 Fig. 2) on the dial: day of the week, day, month, year, hours, minutes and seconds. The special feature is that these digital displays are stopped at a certain event, e.g. the birth of a child (stop function) and at the same time a time measurement begins with a further 6 digital displays (2 Fig. 2) and the time counts up second by second from zero through seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and years with the special feature that the function cannot be stopped for years (running function).

Furthermore, the stop function can no longer be started.

Due to the present invention, it is now easily possible - even years later - to read the occurrence of an event to the second and at the same time to determine the elapsed time over years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds to the second (running function).

The invention is explained below by way of example with reference to the drawings.
