Description

The present invention relates to a device for installing rectangular multipole connectors for industrial use of the standardized, commercially available type on standardized support profiles generally used inside distribution and control panels.

Known devices of this type normally comprise a base mounted on the support profile, to which base is attached, in possibly adjustable positions, a bridge structure which generally ends at the top in a rectangular frame to which the connecting element is attached.

A disadvantage of these structures is that they do not allow the attachment of already wired connectors

and thus make it necessary to work in confined spaces when laying cables.

Another disadvantage is that they usually require the use of a tool to remove the connector from the supporting structure.

Another disadvantage is that the known systems usually require the bracket to be removed from the profile in order to remove the wired connector block.

The object of the invention is to eliminate the mentioned disadvantages.

Another object of the invention is to provide a device for installing multi-pole connectors which is simple in construction and economical.

These objects are achieved by the device for installing multipole connectors according to the invention having the features of independent claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the dependent claims.

Essentially, the base holder of the connector according to the invention is made in a single piece and comprises a base plate which is attached to the profile and four supports or angled legs for support, forming a fork open on four sides which allows easy wiring. The connector-

block has two means on opposite sides that allow attachment to the respective pairs of supports, with the possibility of removal without tools and with the possibility of partial uncoupling by tilting on one side to have free access to the support.

The connector block fastening device according to the invention essentially comprises a base holder 1, which - as will be seen below - can be fastened to the switchboard in various ways, and a pair of middle holders 2 located between the base holder 1 and a connector block 3 to be fastened in the switchboard.

The base holder 1 is conveniently made in a single piece and comprises a flat base plate 10, from the four corners of which legs or supports 11 rise perpendicularly to the base plate, thereby forming a completely open fork structure on the four sides.

On the underside of the base support 10, means are arranged which enable the base support 1 to be fixed in various ways. In particular, in an intermediate part, a pair of teeth 4 are provided, opposite which is associated a tooth 5 which is arranged on a movable carriage 7 which is moved by a spring 6 in the direction of the teeth 4. As shown in Figure 4, the teeth 4 and 5 serve to snap the base support 1 transversely to a standardized support profile 8 which is usually used inside distribution and control panels.

In order to remove the base holder 1 from the holding profile 8, it is necessary to use a tool, for example the tip of a screwdriver, to engage a slot 9 of the slide 7 in order to release the tooth 5 from the edge of the holding profile 7.

On the underside of the base plate 10, two further pairs of teeth 12 are also provided, which face each other in a direction that is perpendicular to that of the teeth 4 and 5. The teeth 12 have a certain degree of elasticity and enable the snap fastening of the base holder 1 lengthwise to the standardized holding profile 7, as shown in Figure 5.

Finally, at least four holes 13 are provided in the base plate 10 for fastening the base holder 1 by means of additional screws 14 (Figure 6), for example to a base plate (not shown) of a control panel.

The middle brackets 2 are attached to the connector block 3 by means of screws 3 0 (Figure 2).

One of the central supports 2 has two lateral bolts 20 arranged on the same axis and capable of engaging in corresponding circular seats 15 formed in a pair of the supports 11 and having an insertion opening 16.

The other middle holder 2 has a pair of lateral teeth 21 which can be actuated by means of a button 22 against the action of a spring 23. The teeth 21, which are moved towards the outside of the connector block 3 by the action of the spring 23, engage in corresponding

corresponding openings 17 formed in the other pair of supports 11 of the base holder 1.

To remove the connector block 3 with its central support 2 from the base support 1, it is sufficient to press the button 22 to move the teeth 21 inwards, thereby releasing them from the openings 17. The connector block 3 can thus be lifted up, remaining on the other pair of supports 11 in the hinges, as shown in Figure 1.

If the connector block 3 is to be completely removed from the base holder 1, it is sufficient to also remove the bolts from the corresponding seats 15. 15

Each central support 2 is further provided with a lever 25 with hooks 26 for connection to a movable housing with pins (not shown) in which a connector block complementary to the connector block 3 shown in the figures is installed to complete the connection.

The levers used, equipped with hooks, are of course compatible with the mobile housings available on the market and thus offer obvious advantages.

The device for installing rectangular multi-pole connectors for industrial purposes according to the invention thus enables the following advantages when using the connector compared to the terminal board:

easily separable connections in a space that is smaller than that required for ordinary terminal boards

required is lower;

the possibility of prefabricating cabling sets in series, which are then assembled on site; 5

the ability to quickly replace parts of damaged cabling as a unit.

Thus, the device according to the invention fulfills the tasks of simple and economical implementation.

Claims (1)

Protection claims Device for installing rectangular multi-pole connectors (3) for industrial use inside switchboards, comprising a base support (1) which can be fastened to the structure of the switchboard, and intermediate supports (2) which are inserted between the base support (1) and the connector (3), characterized in that the base support (1) comprises in a single piece a base plate (10) and four supports (11) which are angled relative to it and which form an open fork structure on four sides, and in that the intermediate supports (2) are fastened to two opposite sides of the connector block (3) and each have means for fastening to a corresponding pair of supports (11) which can be removed without tools. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that one of the middle holders (2) has a pair of lateral bolts (2 0) which snap and engage snugly in corresponding seats (15) formed in the corresponding pair of supports (11) and having corresponding insertion openings (16). 3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the other of the central supports (2) has a pair of lateral teeth (21) which snap into corresponding openings (17) formed in the corresponding pair of supports (11). 4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the teeth (21) are pre-tensioned by a spring (23) to engage with the openings (17) and the engagement of the teeth can be released by means of a button (22) which acts against the spring (23). 5. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the connector (3) is attached to the middle holders (2) by means of screws (30). 6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each central support 5 (2) is provided with a lever (25) with hooks (26) to establish the connection with a movable housing, in which a complementary connector is mounted, via pins and to complete the connection with the connector (3). 7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the base plate (10) of the base holder (1) is provided on the underside for the transverse or longitudinal fastening of the base holder (1) to a 3 ♦♦- Holding profile (8) has opposing teeth (4, 5) as well as pairs of opposing teeth (12) which are arranged perpendicular to the former.
5 8. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the base plate (10) of the base holder (1) has holes (13) for fastening by means of screws (14), for example to a base plate of the control panel.
