The invention relates to a tubular ring-shaped, ready-made padded bandage, in particular for blood drain cuffs.

During operations or surgical interventions on the arms or legs, an inflatable cuff is usually used which, when inflated, cuts off the blood supply to the arm or leg, so that the operation can be carried out relatively bloodlessly.

In order to avoid wrinkling of the human skin, which usually leads to extremely painful bruising and hematomas, the blood drain cuffs are usually padded with cotton wool.

The disadvantage here, however, is that this is very time-consuming and the cotton wool can also form folds when the cuff is inflated and the arm or leg circumference is slightly reduced due to the increasing pressure. It can also clump and harden due to sweat, disinfectants, etc., which means that the cushioning effect is lost.

The object of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to create a way to safely prevent the formation of wrinkles in the human skin, e.g. when using blood drain cuffs.

This task is solved by a tubular ring-shaped, closed ready-made padded bandage, in particular for exhaustion cuffs, consisting of two layers of a pile material that is elastic at least in the circumferential direction, in particular pile fabric, connected to one another at the edges, with loops forming the pile on at least one side. This ensures that even if there is a significant change in circumference, e.g. as a result of inflating an exhaustion cuff, no folds in the skin are formed, as the elasticity of the ready-made padded bandage always fits securely. The loops forming the pile achieve a good cushioning effect and the closed ring shape allows the ready-made padded bandage to be securely attached to the desired location without accidentally loosening. With very high elasticity, a uniform size of a ready-made padded bandage can be used for a variety of different diameters (child's arm, man's arm, etc.), which allows for cost-effective production.

Advantageously, the loops of the inner layer and the loops of the outer layer can be on the respective inner side of the two layers, so that the pile faces the human skin, which reliably prevents the formation of skin folds, especially when the ready-made padding bandage is only slightly stretched.

side of the two layers so that the pile is not facing the human skin, which reliably prevents the formation of skin folds in the case of a highly stretched ready-made padding bandage in which the loops are pulled smooth and the previously smooth side has a structure.

Furthermore, the loops of the inner layer can be on the inner side and the loops of the outer layer on the outer side, so that the sides of the two layers that do not have a pile lie on top of each other, whereby the finished cushioning bandage becomes flatter and can therefore be packaged smaller, for example.

However, the loops of the inner layer can also be on the outer side and the loops of the outer layer on the inner side, so that the sides of the two layers that each have a pile lie on top of each other, thus achieving particularly good padding.

Preferably, the inner layer can have pile-forming loops on both sides and/or the outer layer can have pile-forming loops on both sides, so that, depending on the number of layers having a pile, the degree of padding can be precisely adjusted.

According to the invention, the two layers can be formed in one piece and folded over each other, so that an additional connection of the layers to each other is only necessary on one side.

The layers are connected to one another in a way that is stable but secure against lateral displacement.

Preferably, the ready-made padding bandage can be made of cotton, in particular with a small admixture of an elastic fiber, in particular synthetic fiber, whereby the positive properties of cotton, such as high absorbency, low risk of allergies, etc., are combined with the particularly permanent elasticity of synthetic fibers.

An embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing is explained below. The only figure shows a finished upholstery dressing 2 consisting of an elastic pile fabric 1 folded over one another in two layers A, B, the layers A, B of which are sewn together at the free edges 3, 4. The pile consists of individual loops 5 which are arranged on the inside of the inner layer A and on the outside of the outer layer B.

Designs are also possible in which layers A and B are not connected and/or layers A and/or B have a pile on the inside, outside or both sides.

A tubular ring-shaped, ready-made padded bandage (2), in particular for blood-extraction cuffs, comprising two layers (A, B) of a pile material (1) which is elastic at least in the circumferential direction, in particular pile fabric, which are connected to one another at the edges (3, 4), with loops (5) forming the pile on at least one side. 2. Ready-made padding bandage (2) according to claim 1, characterized in that the loops (5) of the inner layer (A) and the loops (5) of the outer layer (B) are on the respective inner side of the two layers (A, B). 3.
