The seating furniture commonly available on the market with a vertical seating position causes excessive strain on the vertebrae when sitting. In addition, the height of the seating furniture is not adapted to the size of the user. In particular, people of larger stature can rest their soles of their feet flat on the floor when sitting in the usual position, but their thighs cannot rest on the seat of the furniture.

This sitting position caused by standard furniture puts additional strain on the lumbar vertebrae and hip joints. This can lead to spinal and hip joint damage. This is especially the case when there is wear and tear or accident-related damage to the back, vertebrae, hip joint, thigh and knee area. People with sciatica, disc or spinal damage in particular have major problems with normal sitting and can only endure this sitting position with great pain. Not only can the healing process not take place in this sitting position, there is additional strain on the spine and joints, which should otherwise be relieved. This increases pain and worsens the symptoms of the disease. Seating furniture intended for rest periods, such as reading or watching television, in particular has these disadvantages.

Usually, the remedy is not to replace the entire seating furniture in a household or to have custom-made items made.

At most, a single chair or two are bought, but these usually do not fit in with the usual furnishings.

The solution to the problem must therefore be to make simple and inexpensive changes to existing seating furniture to ensure an orthopedically correct sitting position and positioning of the body, especially for people with back, spine, hip and

knee joint problems.

The problem is solved according to the invention by the features of the invention characterized in the protection claims. Namely by one or more novel attachable, beveled feet, which, after being attached to the legs of the seating furniture, change or tilt the seating position by 10 - 20 degrees.

Due to the inclination of the backrest, the body weight no longer presses with its full weight on the lumbar vertebrae and joints and puts less strain on them, so this sitting position is pain-relieving.

The furniture foot 2 is simply pushed over the front leg 1 and adheres to the middle bar thanks to the self-adhesive layer and extends the front leg 1, so to speak, so that a seating position that is changed by 10 - 20% is created. The balancing foot 6 compensates for the inclination and increases stability

Existing seating furniture can be retained and achieved by pushing the foot up into the described relieving seating position - inexpensively, quickly and with little operation and maintenance.
